If you are looking to learn more about wine, this is a good place to start, I have visited this place twice in the the past 5 years travelling through to Sth Australia. The owner Greg is extremely knowledgeable and he will take you through a range of local products and let you explore the different structures and quality of the wine. There is no rush and no push the decisions that you make are yours alone. There is a variety of other local products that can be sampled and his outdoor wine bar is very popular with the locals.
My bowls team really enjoyed the port!!

My review is based on the customer service the swedish gentleman and lady in the cellar door provided. The wines themselves are alright but the two of them made the experience one of the better wine tasting experiences I have had - from the insights about the region, the building and even the local town sites, we spent a lovely hour in the Cellar door and utterly enjoyed the experience. I don't think you go here wanting to buy the countries premium wine but if you want a taste of what the area has to offer with some wonderful service, then I recommend giving Sunraysia a try.

In the words of the Cranberries ‘do you have to let it linger’. Please stop bringing me disgusting wine.
Look the lady serving us was very nice and friendly and was trying her best with what she had to work with, but let’s face it I haven’t drink wine that bad since I was a student and bought 3 bottles of ‘Italian’ for £5.
Things started averagely with a Pinot Noir that except for 1 other bottle Mon Doyen was the only thing I would ever consider drinking again unless blind drunk.
After the first wine, the owner came over and proudly poured us a taste of McGuigan black label, I was utterly confused at this point, I mean why? If I wanted to taste this I could pick it up for $6 from any normal bottle shop, but when he lovingly explained that it’s a mash up of any old grape with loads of sugar, comparing to a Big Mac I knew the game was over personally you couldn’t pay me to eat at a McDonald’s and vice versa I never want to taste McGuigan black label again. But worse was to come, how is that possible you wonder? Well the frizzante made me want to vomit and to follow that a port that can be purchased for $9 a litre, which to my mind only an alcoholic would want to drink.
A wine tasting should be an experience, an enjoyable experience I mean, not a journey though terrible cheap and nasty mass produced wine.
I will add the cheese I bought was a Brie and was pretty good actually and I bought a bottle of Mon Doyen but that was because I find it embarrassing to buy nothing especially if the tasting was free, but it will make an adequate third bottle on one of those long drinking nights by which time the flavour won’t really matter.
Finally just because it sells a lot does mean it’s good, I imagine alcoholics buy lots of cheap alcohol but I wouldn’t ask them for advice on what to drink or where, if I did the answer would probably be ‘park bench with a litre of $9 port’

Sunraysia Cellar Door definitely needs to be on your bucket list !!
This gem of a place has an amazing variety of wines, Muscat’s, gins, from over 22 local wineries.
So grab a cheese platter, (the local olives are a must) sit down relax and enjoy the wine tasting. Your hosts - Greg and Charlie will make your day - fun and interesting with their exceptional knowledge about wineries, wines and the the different regions.
Highly recommend to all visiting Mildura, even the locals that haven’t been yet!
Will definitely return again and/ or order online.

Enjoyable experience, tasty well presented platters. Female host was lovely but male host wasn't keen on serving a $15 glass of wine for some reason....maybe list the ones you'll serve by the glass instead of making yourself look cheap.

Greg and the team really know their wines, their wineries, and their wine regions.
What they don't know about their wines and wine makers probably is not worth knowing, and they deliver this knowledge in a very enjoyable way.
The "build your own platter" is a fantastic idea, and Greg's team are masters at presentation.
If you are in Mildura, or surrounding areas and want to know about the 22 different wineries that are showcased through the "collective" cellar door, I would highly recommend a visit, its brilliant and certainly worth while.

Mother & daughter wine tasting. A wonderful gem in Mildura that should not be missed if you’re after local wines & gin. This boutique venue has a fabulous selection from 22 local wineries. Leah was a delightful host who offered great insight into all the various wines across the region. We visited again on Friday to find they turned into a humming little wine bar, with wonderful hosts. Well done. Such a friendly atmosphere.

Twenty two local wineries are represented here, from which to choose wines. You are offered random tasting from seven wineries. LocL cheese platter was very good. Highly recommended

Had a wonderful experience here while on holiday with our two furbabies. Charlie looked after us wonderfully. She went out of her way to make us all welcome.

Hi there. I purchased a case of the Executioner yesterday. Just wanted to know what is the recommended time to cellar it for.
Thanks

Hi there, thank you for your question! As with all Murray Darling wines we recommend 2-4 years, however this wine will cellar a little longer.
Cheers,
Greg - Owner Sunraysia Cellar Door
