Wow, what a wonderful surprise this was!
We just stopped in on the way past without any expectations and were so impressed!
My partner doesn’t drink wine so normally isn’t keen at all to go to wineries/ cellar doors with me. Greg made this visit so interesting, full of facts and history about wine within Australia as well as outside, my partner and I both absolutely loved the experience and that’s largely (if not wholly) down to Greg.
I highly recommend going in for a visit and buying some locally produced wine. Absolutely fantastic, thanks Greg!

Had such a great afternoon here with generous and friendly service. Tasted 10+ wines and came away with 4 bottles from local vineyards at very reasonable prices - but easily could have bought the whole shop! We were very well taken care of. Definitely worth a visit.

We walked into the Sunraysia Cellar Door... I walked straight back out, drove the car to our caravan park and caught a taxi back to hubby for an indulgent afternoon of grazing on local cheeses and other nibbles whilst sampling wines from around the region.
You pick the nibbles & cheese you’d like to have from their display, the staff present it for you on a grazing platter, and then they discuss your wine tastes to present you with the appropriate samples. We were there over 3 hours with hubby on reds, me on sweet whites. We rested with tea/coffee and then into the fortifieds. We would have tasted at least 10 wines, and another 9 or 10 fortifieds. There’s so much on offer and most are very reasonably priced between $10-$20.
A bloody ripper place with terrific service. Thank goodness for taxis 🥴

Walked in keen to try local wines and with the intent of buying. Sat down and told them we only drink red wines but were told they would guide us through their Monday to Sunday wine tasting. Not one wine was red!!! And all were from their feature winery which is not at all to our taste. Were not offered tastings on any of the other wines on shelves which for a start were red, and secondly may have been of better quality than the mass produced quaffers forced upon us in their tasting.
Not at all tailored to the individuals tastes, hence we walked out without paying a cent on wine which is extremely rare for us !
Don't bother if you have any interest in tasting quality wines or even wines you remotely enjoy.

In the words of the Cranberries ‘do you have to let it linger’. Please stop bringing me disgusting wine.
Look the lady serving us was very nice and friendly and was trying her best with what she had to work with, but let’s face it I haven’t drink wine that bad since I was a student and bought 3 bottles of ‘Italian’ for £5.
Things started averagely with a Pinot Noir that except for 1 other bottle Mon Doyen was the only thing I would ever consider drinking again unless blind drunk.
After the first wine, the owner came over and proudly poured us a taste of McGuigan black label, I was utterly confused at this point, I mean why? If I wanted to taste this I could pick it up for $6 from any normal bottle shop, but when he lovingly explained that it’s a mash up of any old grape with loads of sugar, comparing to a Big Mac I knew the game was over personally you couldn’t pay me to eat at a McDonald’s and vice versa I never want to taste McGuigan black label again. But worse was to come, how is that possible you wonder? Well the frizzante made me want to vomit and to follow that a port that can be purchased for $9 a litre, which to my mind only an alcoholic would want to drink.
A wine tasting should be an experience, an enjoyable experience I mean, not a journey though terrible cheap and nasty mass produced wine.
I will add the cheese I bought was a Brie and was pretty good actually and I bought a bottle of Mon Doyen but that was because I find it embarrassing to buy nothing especially if the tasting was free, but it will make an adequate third bottle on one of those long drinking nights by which time the flavour won’t really matter.
Finally just because it sells a lot does mean it’s good, I imagine alcoholics buy lots of cheap alcohol but I wouldn’t ask them for advice on what to drink or where, if I did the answer would probably be ‘park bench with a litre of $9 port’

The owner was amazing. He made the wine tasting enjoyable and educated us about australian wine in a fun way. Food, coffee, tea & non-alcoholic drinks also available here so our whole family was happy. The space is great indoors & out. Wish we werent going home tomorrow & could visit again.

3yrs ago visited this Cellar door, impressed then and again today. Same format as previous. Seated in lovely Cellar Door and basically the owner show cased the Regions wines. All of which you can taste and there are loads. But they commence by showcasing 7 whites and 7 reds. Very impressive and all very reasonably priced. They pride themselves on the wines drink ability and accessibility (price).
Really enjoyable experience. Fabulous range of wines. Highly recommend a visit.

Greg and the team really know their wines, their wineries, and their wine regions.
What they don't know about their wines and wine makers probably is not worth knowing, and they deliver this knowledge in a very enjoyable way.
The "build your own platter" is a fantastic idea, and Greg's team are masters at presentation.
If you are in Mildura, or surrounding areas and want to know about the 22 different wineries that are showcased through the "collective" cellar door, I would highly recommend a visit, its brilliant and certainly worth while.

This wine centre allows you to try a wide variety of locally-produced wines. The wines are well-made, and use fruit grown in the Sunraysia region. Sunraysia is the name for the region around Mildura. The variety of wines is impressive; wine is an an important product of the Sunraysia region. The wine is professionally made. Of course, you can visit the wineries, which is very enjoyable, but it's convenient having the wines in one spot. By the way, the Sunraysia wines are good value.

Friendly and informed from experience gained over decades, your host will give you explanation and entertainment while you relax in his comfortable premises. Huge range of local wines available, together with a limited range of regional produce and merchandise. Easy to find and park. Go there!

Hi there. I purchased a case of the Executioner yesterday. Just wanted to know what is the recommended time to cellar it for.
Thanks

Hi there, thank you for your question! As with all Murray Darling wines we recommend 2-4 years, however this wine will cellar a little longer.
Cheers,
Greg - Owner Sunraysia Cellar Door
