Did a fantastic 2 hr trip on the paddle steamer Rothbury. Watching the wood burning engine was really interesting. Would recommend anyone doing the trip & enjoy a glass of champagne while taking in the sights.

This was quite a fun thing to do - went with the visiting rellies as a matter of duty, basically, but found the commentary really quite interesting and the whole trip surprisingly fun. Highly recommend it.

Very relaxing down the Murray. Kids loved it as never done this before. Nice to see all the campers having a great time.

Scorching hot day floating down the Murray river. Great way to learn some of the history, see the lock in action and learn about the weirs. Get on early and secure a seat up the top in the shade

This is a must do when visiting a town like Mildura. We had such fantastic weather, bit of sun and a nice gentle breeze. The commentary was very informative. Amazing how many people stop to watch the paddlesteamer go through the lock.

Travelled on the Rothbury on a blue sky day. Great to have indoor and outdoor options as the wind was a little cold. Informative captain kept the facts coming at a good pace and pointed out the bird life along the riverbanks. Plenty of food...More

From the moment we stepped onboard we knew we were in for a treat. The Wonderful friendly crew welcomed us. Our knowledgeable captain gave us just enough information with our boring us. Mildest gave us perfect weather and we loved paddling down the river.

A short trip down river. Can walk on and pay, probably not recommended at busy times though. Sailed through Lock 11 which was interesting, then had a look at the weir before continuing down stream. On board commentary, snacks, hot and cold drinks and Licensed...More

We only booked the night before after finding out friends had already booked the trip. It sounded like a nice relaxing day out which we needed after driving the dusty road down from Mungo National Park. Prices are $70 for adults and $65 for seniors....More
