    The best, most challenging maze
We loved the hedge maze here. We’ve done plenty of hedge mazes previously, but this one was a real challenge and kept us guessing the whole way. It took us about an hour to solve it, and whilst that was tough on a hot summers day, we keep saying that it was one of our best achievements in Mildura. Absolutely recommend, but not maybe not when you’re racing to a dinner booking!

An old fashioned tourist attraction and well worth the visit. A huge shop with jewellery and rocks, with a price range for everyone. A $2 (man made) cave experience and Cafe. A great place to visit with the family.

We found majority of the staff extremely rude. All except a gentleman in the workshop area he was really lovely. The lady behind the counter told me there's no way I could possibly have enough money to purchase what I had taken to the counter and suggested perhaps I should put some stuff back. It only came to $56 then she said as transaction was approved oh it s approved. The cafe well omg what a horrible experience. Everything we ordered we were told no. Then we ordered a schnitzel chips and gravy we were told to pick fish and chips. I explained we have fish allergies. So we ordered our food and drinks. The coffee tasted like the coffee machine had not been cleaned in weeks. The milkshake was really nice. Anyway after quite a while the food came out. Well schnitzel chips and gravy was in the form of a burger with the staff members hands all over it. No gloves nothing 🤬🤬🤬 i explained we didn't order that and had ordered a schnitzel chips and gravy. The staff member replied oh you customers forget what you ordered all the time its actually annoying.
35 minutes later out came our schnitzel chips and gravy. We were asked what was our problem this time? I explained I was wondering where to get cutlery from. She came back with the cutlery. My son said to her shouldnt you have gloves on or a napkin around the cutlery as there is corona virus. She moved her hands all over the cutlery including the end that would go into our mouth.
We did not eat a thing. We were not checked on or asked if there was anything wrong just 3 p behind the counter sniggering and laughing.
Wont be back thats for sure.

Ordered food at the Cafe, was then told it would be a 45min wait, waited an hour and a half only to be told they'd lost our order. Staff looked like they didn't want to be there, especially the blond girl behind the counter who was rolling her eyes at co-workers and telling them off in front of everyone lining up to order. Then when she was delivering food to another table, customers asked for cuttlery and she rudley told them they'd have to get up and get there own from on the counter. Not somewhere I'd bother going back to.

We were camping near by and went to have a look with out too much research. It was awesome! The different gems and carvings were really pretty, the display cave was really interesting and the maze is harder than it looks! But still super fun. The cafe has good meal sizes and the thick shakes were very yummy. Definitely worth a look.

We decided to go to Woodsies Gem shop to check out the gems and the maze. At first glance it is a bit dated but on further inspection, it is a fascinating place.
The maze was just incredible ($2 per adult and $1 per child) and we genuinely got lost! Haha. Thankfully we ran into Woodsy himself (the gentleman named Doug who created the maze) and he showed us the way through the maze, as well as telling us all about the history of the place.
It was very touching to hear about his dedication and passion, and at 90 years old what a treat to have him show us the plants that he planted in the maze so many years ago.
The kids loved the little playground.
We returned the next day to purchase some gems (really reasonable pricing and a huge collection) and to see the Cave. The cave is filled with the most amazing display of all of Doug’s treasures he has accumulated from across the world. Just fascinating! And so many funny little jokes throughout.
Thank you for a lovely family experience and for inspiring our children, who are already enamoured with rocks and gems.

Just as I remember from 20 odd years ago. Lots of gems to look at and also some available to purchase. We didn't have time to eat at the cafe but the menu looked good. The shop part was very busy when we visited so it was hard to see some things and took some time to be able to look at things to purchase however the Aladdin's cave part wasn't too busy and we were able to leisurely look around without being rushed.

While on holidays in Mildura my teenage kids and myself visited 4 times in 9 days! So much to see for all ages. Every time we went back we found stuff we hadn’t the time before. Great for all ages. The attached Cafe was fantastic. If heading to Woodsies Gem Shop make sure you have time to spend exploring all that there our first visit we were there for around 5 hours.

One of the most beautiful collections of gems and jewellery I have ever seen. You’d be hard pressed not to find something that you’d love here. Prices are very reasonable and some of the huge gem carvings are amazing. Staff were helpful and made some great suggestions for my taste. Didn’t get to Aladdins cave. We got there a bit after 2pm which was great as it wasn’t as busy so really had time to get a good look around. If you love to know all the various uses for crystal, some of this wasn’t always easy to find, but staff were very knowledgeable
