We had the best time on the Houseboat Shannon with our small family and fur baby. The solar panels made the trip so much quieter with the generator only used for topping up the power after a few hours of running the heater and appliances. The staff are fantastic and the boat was very good value for money in my opinion. We went in winter and Mildura has cold nights but beautiful calm sunny days. very quiet on the river this time of year also. All Seasons were great to deal with

We had just the best time!.
We rented the Shannon for 7 nights for the two of us, and it was just amazing! From our initial contact to book (where we needed to sort a few dates) through to disembarking, the team at All Seasons Houseboats were fantastic.
We found the staff incredibly friendly - just the right amount of contact to keep us feeling safe, but still adventurous.
The Murray is magical to explore, and we managed to tuck a cool 160km odd under our belt over that time (from as far up stream as near Bonnie Doon all the way downstream to Wentworth and back again). Traversing Locks, bridges that needed to be raised for us, through to using our polycraft to get supplies and winter campfires with great red wine!
I can appreciate how lovely it is in Summer, but we just loved our winter cruise. Every night was magical, the mornings spectacular, and the river teemed with bird life (Pelicans, Swans, Geese, Wedge Tail Eagles, Cormorants, Herons, ducks/ducklings, Butcher birds, Kookaburras etc).
The house boat remained warm with the heat pump, and a roof top spa every night made sure we were never too cold while adventuring.

Thanks for choosing to sail with us and we are THRILLED that you've let us know how much you enjoyed your recent stay on board Shannon. She's a great boat and is a favourite with many of our regular guests. We really appreciate everything you've mentioned - it's so nice to have such positive feedback. We also love winter on the Murray. There's something really special about having a camp fire on the banks and sipping red wine just tops it off! Good on you for using the rooftop spa and enjoying every moment of your adventure. We hope we have the pleasure of your company again often in the future - it sounds like you're die hard fans of houseboating now! We travelled with two other couples and had the most amazing and relaxing week onboard Extreme Indulgence. After a couple of false starts due to COVID we couldn't have wished for a better holiday. We travelled downstream to Wentworth and then back upstream to Red Cliffs. The scenery is breathtaking, there was little to no river traffic (not being summer or school holidays) and being fully air-conditioned, even on cooler days, we were extremely comfortable just as the name suggests. From all the ladies in the booking office, to Troy and Nick (our pilots) and the wonderful Robyn at the IGA we were blown away by the professional and friendly service we encountered at every turn. We would highly recommend All Seasons.

These guys are HORRIFIC! It's a circus. There are just too many cooks and they could not be less helpful. They just want the money. We booked the most prestigious boat and were met with a bunch of girls who just didn't want to assist in any way other than to rapidly take payment.

As discussed, we are very sorry that we couldn’t accommodate all your date change requests, as the boat was already booked for your new chosen dates. Beautiful , luxurious houseboat. Exceptionally clean. Great team to deal with. A couple of minor issues that they came out straight away and tended to. Would definitely travel with All Seasons again.

We absolutely loved our time on the Sapphire Indulgence. The bedrooms and bathrooms were immaculate, kitchen facilities were great, and we all loved the rooftop spa. Also renting the kayaks and the little runabout boat added an extra level of fun.

We were a group of five adults and seven children who had a wonderful holiday on a six bedroom houseboat. We found the early information very helpful, the onboarding process seamless, the quality of the fitout on the boat excellent, the cleanliness faultless, and the amenities just what you could want for a perfect family holiday. The spa was a treat for the kids after they had been swimming in the river, and the upstairs BBQ meant that we could eat informally if we wanted.
Driving the boat is not for the faint-hearted, but we were given good instruction, and the staff met us on the return to board the boat and safely dock the boat at the jetty.
One real plus was using Mallee Meats, who were recommended by All Seasons. Despite the name they were more like a regular supermarker in terms of the range of products available. And they not only delivered their very high quality foods, but packed it into the cupboards, freezer and fridge. Great quality and service from all involved.

Do we need a boat license to hire and drive your house boats?

Great question and thanks for asking. A full car driver’s licence (or boat licence) is all that is required, and the hirer must be over the age of 21 years of age. We hope to welcome you onboard soon. :)
