We took a 20 minute helicopter ride (Flight 3 – The Silt Jetties) around the Lakes Entrance area. It was a really great way to get a different perspective on this unique part of Victoria. The guys were very knowledgeable and gave us great insight into how the area developed and its geography. The views were incredible! The guys were really focused on safety and we felt very comfortable, despite the fact that it was our first trip in a helicopter.

I booked a scenic helicopter flight (Flight 4) for my Mum's 70th birthday and she absolutely loved it! Having previously lived in Paynesville and done a lot of boating on the Gippsland Lakes, it was great to see it from a different perspective.
Highly recommended for locals and visitors alike.

What a great birthday present for your Mum. Our flight 4 - 30 minutes takes in amazing views of the Gippsland Lakes together with inland beauty.
Thank you for taking the time to do this review Adam and we hope to see you again - maybe the flight 5 - 45 minutes which extends our flight 4 and takes in Lakes Entrance and Lake Tyers.

Absolutely brilliant flight! The staff are wonderful, genuinely lovely people. The pilot was knowledgeable about the area, informative and friendly. We had such a thrilling ride and the weather was perfect. I would do this over and over again; in fact, as soon as we landed both my partner and I said “WOW we need to do that again!” I can highly recommend this little adventure! We chose option 3 which was the 20 minute flight and found that to be a good length of time in the air…of course, we could spend a couple hours up there…the scenery is spectacular but 20 minutes is still a great time! Thanks to the staff for making me feel so comfortable too!

We really appreciate you sharing your experience. Our 20 minute flight, taking in the Silt Jetties gives you a great overview of the Gippsland Lakes and Ninety Mile beach. We really do hope that you come back another time to take a different scenic flight or chose from one of our experience packages, which are unique and provide a great opportunity to see more of this truly magnificent area.

What a day. A big shout out to Lakes Entrance Helicopters and the Marlo Hotel for making Karen’s chrissie pressie an amazing day. To Dave and all the crew at Lakes Entrance Helicopters Thankyou for the incredible experience.

So pleased that the Marlo Hotel Experience did not disappoint and what a great way to celebrate with Karen. Thank you for your review. It is a wonderful way to see the beauty of East Gippsland whilst enjoying lunch.

This was my 70th birthday present while we were staying on Fraser Island.
David picked us up on the front lawn, and we had the most amazing 20 flight over the area. I had never been in a helicopter before and I LOVED IT!
David, the pilot was really informative about the area. Having lived there for many years, I learnt a lot! Best thing I've done for years....totally recommend it.

Great experience. Very professional team. I felt very safe even though it was my first helicopter flight. The pilot was very knowledgeable about the area. If you are looking for a great way to see the Lakes area I can highly recommended them.

Organised this for my wife’s birthday and her first helicopter flight. Easy to book and very well organised. The flight was great and very informative. I’d suggest as a minimum a 20 minute flight as the time just flies, no pun intended. Great view over the silt jetty’s and surrounding towns. Thoroughly recommend these guys, very professional and happy to chat about local tourist destinations.

Did a scenic 20 min flight over the silt jetties, Paynesville, Raymond island, metung and 90 mile beach. The flight was very smooth, pilot was very friendly and knowledgeable, ground staff also lovely. Well worth a trip spectacular views of the area

Hi Lynn,
Are you referring to Tamberrah Cottages? At this point in time we have not secure any landings in the Upper Tambo area, but always looking to extend out reach. We provide 5 set Scenic Flights at the Lakes Entrance Airfield with all prices and details available on our website.
There is an individual (130Kg) seat and combined weight limit. We generally request passengers over 100Kg to seat in the back.
