Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Pleasant walk starting in Rippleside Park through to the waterfront in the center of Geelong and beyond. All the bollard characters along the way. Easy walk all level.

Still returning even with kids now older.
Graduated from wooden playground area and now on big grass space.
Hit of cricket, throw of frisbee or soccer kick our activity.
Toilets handy and some shade. Pleasant park to spend some time at.

A very spacious park with plenty of room for activities. Plenty of parking spots with a large wooden based playground for the kids and a nice seaside view further out. This park just needs a few shaded areas with seating and a BBQ set then it would be perfect.

Rippleside Park is in the Geelong suburb of Rippleside. This is a large sea side park with plenty of shady trees, open space for the dogs and play areas for the kids.

A huge timber climbing structures for the children and also a fenced area for the smaller children to play. The grassed areas of the park are a bit unkept.

Beautiful place, plenty of space for walking and running around, lots of seating and bbq’s. Amazing playground, kids love it. The view over the bay is amazing. Definately worth a visit. There is also a cafe, we did t going but it looked good.

We recently had a family reunion here and were pleasantly surprised at how attractive Ripplesdide Park is. We hadn't beeh there for years and we had a lovely and relaxing day. Its located opposite one of the shipping lanes and the delightful water views and seeing the big ships enter and make their way to port was a highlight. The large playground / fort area was enjoyed by the younger kids in our group. Free parking and BBQ's were appreciated and the nearby (just a few minutes walk away) Ripples cafe, dining and take away was frequented for their very good coffee. Highly recommended.

This is within walking distance for me and a great place to catch up for a family gathering. Plenty of open space for a game of cricket, great fenced in playground for the kids. Some covered areas, BBQ's, toilets and parking. There is even a little sandy beach, not that it is suitable for swimming as smelly seaweed at low tide. On certain days Ripples by the Bay is open for a meal or coffee.

Easily the best playground in Geelong for the kids. Financed and built by the community too. Kids love it. Very large park too. Great for sports, kicking the footy, dogs and bbqs. A few shelters with bbqs scattered around. Not a lot of shade though. Cafe in the corner. New beach now too. Good spot for an easy walk around the bay into the city. Plenty of parking. Great spot all round.
