The ROCK Adventure Centre is a state-of-the-art indoor rock climbing facility located in Geelong, Victoria. * 1000 square metres of Climbing Terrain * Walls up to 12 metres high * Huge Variety of Routes For Beginners to Experts * Massive Bouldering Area & Bouldering Cave * Stretching Area & Training Walls * Cafe - cappuccinos, drinks & snacks * Specialist Climbing Equipment Shop From young children through to adults we can get you on the walls and start you climbing. Since 2001 we have shown Thousands of People "The Ropes" and have been the beginning of many Vertical Obsession's. Hours of Operation change over Victorian School Holidays,

I went to the rock with some friends. Heaps of fun and friendly staff Lucy was very helpful.

I was nervous about trying rock wall climbing but the staff and fellow climbers were wonderful, helping and coaching me until I was confident enough to try it myself.. The atmosphere is great and we had a ball. It's a real buzz when you reach the top and for someone who is scared of heights, that's a real confidence booster. Thank you, you Rock!!!!

We did our 7 year Olds party here, brilliant, the kids all had a crack, lots of laughs, good value for money. And the parents that helped us belay loved having a climb once the kids were cooked.

As a professional climbing guide, I often go to gyms to keep up my climbing fitness and of course, hanging out with others.
The Rock Adventure Centre is an excellent facility that is easy to get to, plenty of parking, clean toilets, wheelchair friendly and kid friendly.
The climbs are well graded for people of all skill levels. Kids love the bouldering (so do I). The equipment is always in good condition, so you don't need to worry about your safety. Plus the staff here are lovely. Very helpful, knowledgeable and always ensuring that people are belaying correctly.
Highly recommend.

Our three grandkids - 9, 12 and 15yo - love climbing and they all had a blast. The staff are friendly and thorough with their training and safety instructions. The various walls offer a broad variety of experiences, from very easy (no harness required, thick mattresses all around) to seriously challenging.
This centre is very user-friendly whether you climb or merely accompany climbers. It has a couple of areas where you can sit or even lay down on bean bags for a while if you need a rest. Or sit downstairs, have a drink and watch the kids in action.
An excellent centre, we'll be back next time the grandkids come to visit!

The training and safety instruction provided gave me everything that I needed to feel comfortable with what I was about to do - climbing that wall was liberating and exhilarating!
I've now been a few times and I've also taken this skill out into the real world and I thank the staff for providing excellent instruction.

Have never done climbing before and had an absolute blast. I'm not strong at all, but managed to give most things a go.
Went with my partner and really enjoyed the friendly but laid back feel.
Would recommend it to anyone of any age.
So kind of the staff to set up an Easter egg hunt while we were there too. Very supportive mentors and such an easy way to kill a few hours in the afternoon. Thanks guys!

We are not seasoned climbers by any stretch of the imagination, however have climbed a few times before. When walking into the gym we were slightly disappointed to see the height (or lack thereof) of the walls. Amy greeted us as we walked in. She was polite, friendly and could not be more helpful, not only at the beginning but through the whole time in the gym.
When we suggested our thoughts regarding the heights we were told that the Geelong gym was a strategy gym, and therefore the height was not needed. We laughed, but we were wrong to. These was gave a good challenge, and even the lower grades worked you like some of the higher grades at other gyms. We loved this gym and will definitely be back in the future.
We hope that Amy will be there in future, her expertise regarding the walls and climbing technique were brilliant and she was able to have a good time and let her personality shine. We thank her immensely!

Climbing is all about the challenge and meeting it head on. This is why we love to be able to supply over 200 challenges that suit every person in our climbing and bouldering area. Great to hear that Amy was so helpful, although not surprised, as we strive to make all our climbers feel confident, safe and supported.
Also great to hear that our route setting is doing it's job and giving everyone a workout.
