Mountain biking in the YouYangs with GAS was a fantastic experience on so many levels and the boys (12 & 14yo) are still talking about it! The boys mountain bike riding confidence and skill level improved greatly thanks to Jeremy’s guidance. Big thanks to Jeremy for making this such a fun day out for us all.

I hired a bike from Jeremy at GAS for a day ride at the You Yangs. The bike and accessories were very well maintained and late model. Jeremy was very knowledgeable on the trails at the You Yangs and was able to recommend some great trails.

GAS was awesome in dealing with all students with their questions and physical needs. Had high quality equipment that was suitable for low level riders and more experienced riders. I will be using them again at my next opportunity for any activity they provide.

I have been on a rock climbing trip three times with my teenage son and would highly recommend the company. Jeremy is a fantastic guide, and tailors the session specifically to our skills. All the gear is provided, and plenty of useful advice. Jeremy knows the areas very well, and makes the day fun, and challenging.

I could not rate Jeremy and his team more highly. He was fantastic with the girls (aged 10 & 11). Always thorough with safety and his encouragement saw all of them attempt every height of abseiling. Best birthday party.

Thanks Jess for the great review. I’m so pleased you all had such a great time Abseiling. I was super impressed with how courageous they all were and how much they were able to achieve. Jeremy was instrumental in the success of our first 2.5k long open water Wreck2Reef swim last Sunday as for the first time we needed to move over 80 competitors efficiently to the start line at the other end of Indented Head. Not only did he do that without a hitch, he arrived early and pitched in to help us prepare for the event where around 300 competitors raced in various distances to help our fund raising efforts. Looking forward to your help again next year.

I was visiting Melbourne for the first time and keen to get a glimpse of the Australian landscape that one hears so much about. It was a work visit, but I managed to get a short break and I set off in my adventure with Geelong Adventure Specialists (GAS). I was fortunate that Jeremy who owns the company took me for this breath-taking journey around the Bellarine Peninsular. The places I saw on the way were Queenscliff & harbour, Ocean Grove, Barwonheads, on the Surf Coast, Torquay, Bells Beach and Point Addis, part of the Great Otway National Park and the beginning of the Great Ocean Road. The drive was simply stunning and I cherish every moment of that journey. Jeremy's car was very comfortable and he is a fountainhead of knowledge so he made the trip very interesting. Being a journalist, I asked him a lot of questions, which he patiently replied. He also carried tea/coffee and nibbles to keep us going in the windy weather. We saw kangaroos in the wild. I would highly recommend GAS for any adventure that you have in mind. If I had more time I would have explored the region further.

From start to finish this was the best guided mtb session you could ask for . We were a group of 2 ,father and son(47yo and 19yo ).Jeremy was very flexible with times and pick up as we didnt have a car available and were staying in Melbourne. Very easy to get to on the train.
Jeremy had us set up with quality gear and advice in no time . With different riding skill sets (one a clipped in rider and one not)Jeremy had our expertise levels sussed out and catered his guide to suit. Working into most of the trails he coached us both through many sections/ obstacles/drops etc.and were hitting them with confidence (or the old rider taking a B line).
We would highly recommend Jeremy's business to all levels of mountain biker.
We will be back to the You Yangs with Geelong Adv Specialists.

It's already a few weeks ago, but when I think of my mountain biking day with Jeremy, I have this big smile on my face. It was just Jeremy and me and after picking me up from my B&B we went to the trail park You Yangs. Having done mainly 'wild' mountain biking, this was the first time on trails and I loved it. I had a great full-sus bike and we ended up cycling more than 30 km after instructions. I even tried a black trail with tips from Jeremy :).All with all a fantastic day!!

We took part in a Seniors special offer to walk a You Yangs track. Jeremy is a personable young man keen to share his knowledge of this very interesting area. He provided us with a yummy morning tea..which we partook of before our ramble. The track Jeremy chose for us was rough with some climbing but we all were able to cope easily. We enjoyed the whole experience really and would love to do more outdoor adventures with Jeremy.
