Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Visited the cellar door in the Port of Echuca and was sadly disappointed. We were served by someone who appeared to know little about what she was serving, or lacked interest in explaining it. We used a hand sanitizer upon entry that was so overpowering that it affected the tasting. When we explained this to the server she didn’t see the connection or how this would affect the wine. Others around had a similar experience. Not in a hurry to buy the wine as a result. Hopefully it was a one off bad day.

i buy St Anne's tawny and did even this time around, but there's one staff member who could do with some training and learn some people's skills.
We were greeted by one staff who showed very friendly and kind, bu then she had to call someone else for help as she could probably not assist with the information we needed.
My wife wanted to know the price of a port barrel. This other lady gave her the price, didmissed us fairly abruptly and rudely, and walked away.
I have read other reviews on the same theme, so it seems this particular staff member is a problem and should not be handling customers.
We had a similar experience last time we were here, so it is not an isolated incident. Maybe you should relegate this particular person to do administrative work in an office.
As i said at the start, we will still buy your tawny, but this is simply just not good enough.

The venue had a large interesting display of gifts to purchase as well as their great selection of whites, reds and fortified wines. We went there in the morning and only had a few tastings but the gentleman serving was helpful and guided us through. We purchased some easy drinking reds for a social night and some very nice reds to enjoy privately, also a very nice Topaque.

Walked around for 5 minutes and was ignored, I asked a question about the tawny and got a one word grumpy response so walked out again. Very rude. I was really looking forward to purchasing some gifts for my friends and family aswell. Not sure what warranted this behaviour as myself and my partner didn’t deserve this.

What a gorgeous setting. This large shed has been transformed into a fabulous wine/port tasting venue. Coupled with loads of wine related gifts. Free to try and worth it. Reasonable prices and friendly staff.

Stopped into winery for wine tasting. Service was unbelievably good. They quickly made us a cheese platter and we got to taste every wine on offer. Prices were very reasonable and will definitely come back. Good selection of gifts also.

Was visiting the wharf and old town area.
Pleasantly found St. Anne’s and ventured inside.
Ordered a tasting selection and all very nice.
Souvenir shop, takeaway wines and dining options.
Quick visit but a pleasant experience.

The grapes coming from the Bendigo are then transported across the border to NSW where the wine making happens and all on display for tasting
The place has loads of wine making objects for exhibits and also serves as a gift shop
While the rating of wine is subjective to everyone’s taste, the wines actually taste very good and the liqueurs better
At $24.50 for a bottle of wine I wouldn’t call it cheap, nor every one an afford to by more than 1 maybe

What a pleasant surprise. A wonderful space in which to enjoy a wine tasting staffed by people with a passion for St Anne's.

There really is something here for everyone. Particularly if you enjoy your fortified wines and tawny ports.

It was good to see the tawnys being sold in 'flagons'. So good, that a couple of 'goons' of Jack's barrel tawny were purchased plus 8 bottle aged St Anne's shiraz 'gems' found in the $7 barrel by the back door.

Located close to the wharf, the St Anne's Vineyard shop has a range of their locally produced wines and liqueurs which can be tasted by the visitor. Friendly staff, a range of products and packaging and the ability to mail order make this a top place to visit.
