- Kayla M1 contributionDiamond in the rough! We are a family of 4, kids are 9YO & 11YO. Neil greeted us upon arrival & was such a knowledgeable man. It wasn’t just great for the husband. Kids loved it & we walked away knowing so many interesting facts (not just all beer!) Highly recommended!!!Visited December 2022Travelled with familyWritten 30 December 2022
- Philelle2014Sydney, Australia25 contributionsAbsolutely a must see!A unique and fascinating collection of memorabilia that has been collected over many years by Neil. Neil and his offsider bring the items to life by pointing out some rare items. Neil’s short talk is lots of fun and is well worth listening to. Buy a stubbie or 3 to get the full experience!Visited January 2023Travelled as a coupleWritten 31 December 2022
- Michele3 contributionsDefinitely worth a visitWe visited the Beer Shed on Saturday of New Year’s Eve and we took my daughter and son in law and my 4 granddaughters. This place has so much to see, so much history and unique things. The beer can collection is only a small part part of what there is to see. Neil’s presentation of the tour is informative and fun he is excellent with children and involves them in telling you about his different items. You will wander around and see things that remind you of your grandparents or parents. You can enjoy a cold drink be it a beer a wine a soft drink or another Drink of your choice. Definitely well worth a visit.Visited December 2022Travelled with familyWritten 31 December 2022

- Matthew CAlbury, Australia16 contributionsAbsolutely huge, way beyond what I expectedThis place is huge, I was blown away by the amount of things there were to see. Not just beer cans, but old signs, farm equipment, and other random collections like old soda dispensers, vintage poker machines, matchboxes, tankards, and even a fantastic display of old cars including a Model T Ford Truck. Well and truly worth a visit.Visited March 2023Written 5 March 2023

I lived in Moama for 7 years but only attended for the first time last weekend with friends from Queensland. It was great with lots to see, and amazing collection of all things yesteryear.
Well worth the visit and I’m sure there’re many other locals that should do themselves a favour and get along there for a look as well.
Cheers

A fascinating collection of memorabilia of old machinery, early Aussie vehicles, war items, carriages as well as plenty of things related to beer, especially beer steins from all over the world. Neil gives a great commentary and makes you very welcome. Thoroughly enjoyed the visit.

We enjoyed our visit to The Great Aussie Beer Shed and Heritage Farming Museum in Echuca. The museum is only open on weekends, but will open on weekdays by appointment. My friends made an appointment to visit on a Thursday afternoon. What an amazing place! The owner collects all kinds of stuff, much of which is related to beer. He was so enthusiastic about his collection when he gave a presentation. His collection is quite large. I was able to ring the bell that marked the last lap of races in the 1956 Olympic Games, which were held in Melbourne. The collection includes the world's rarest beer can. Neil, the owner, was a wonderful host and I highly recommend a visit.

We were completely surprised at the quality and quality of the collection, from the oldest beer can to a Cobb and Co carriage safe through to vintage cars and farming equipment.
Hosts Neil and Andrea were fonts of knowledge and clearly vet proud of the collection including family history making this a personal collection.
Well worth 2-3 hours to walk down memory lane.

We had an amazing time. There is something for everyone. I need to go back to see everything I missed. The knowledge of this vast collection by the owner, Neil, is amazing. His presentation was really interesting, and I loved the tribute to his mum. Definitely a must see.

Hi, just wondering if you are allowed to take pets (a dog) in with you?

I am sure they would be able to accommodate a place for your pet, but the tour involves walking inside buildings so you may have to leave your pet outside within the grounds. They are incredibly friendly so I don't think you'll have any problems. Do go it is a great display and entertaining too.
Do you have meals there

It is $10 per head, but if you have been before and brought someone new with you, you will not have to pay. Sorry I didn't answer sooner - have been away.
