Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Yes I like old cars but I am not crazy of them.
And Holden being an Australians thing to do and with no other attraction options in the “touristy” Echuca then I had to pay a visit.
And the pay was $10 which actually buys you as much time as you wish to soak up on the classic and extremely beautiful cars on display
Leaving the place it make you want to own one. Which I probably will as me next by project

Great place to visit lots of cars to see and history of the Holden. You can watch a video, look over the cars of which there are lots, and look around at the gift shop area. By the way some of he cars have something hiding inside - Can the kids spot it?

Look but don't touch was spelled out very clearly to our group. thought this was because we had three young children in the group but it seems this is emphasised to all. Cars on display are in pristene condition as is the whole place. Would be nice if there was one of the old cars that people could sit in but might have to wait until this pandemic is done and dusted.

Not really a car buff but black skies demanded being a diverse tourist in Echuca.
My first car was a Holden Astra and my brother was addicted to Toranas in his 20’s so yes personal relevance.
Glad to read story of lady’s purchase and view a green Torana LH SLR 5000 similar to his.
Nice history in museum showing developments of car motors & chassis design across the decades.
Pleasant clean showroom space and a passionate fellow at reception was very welcoming.

We visited over the July school holidays with our kids. There are lots of Holden cars to view from all eras. People of all ages will enjoy seeing this great collection of cars and engines! We spent about 1 hour looking through this amazing museum. A beautiful collection of cars and an amazing insight into Australia’s bygone motoring history!

It was great to see the evolution of the Holden and just the passion embedded in the stories and the movie. My expectations were exceeded especially seeing the old models. Very hospitable and friendly host too. I recommend this place to anyone looking for great service and experience.

50 Holdens are on display ranging from 1947 until they went out of production. They also have some Toranas and a few luxury models. The vehicles are beautifully maintained. The displays are well lit and most have a fact sheet. But you really need to be a Holden fan.

For me the highlight was a Velocette Motorcycle. I think it was a whispering death. It was superb.

There is also a souvenir shop. Lots of attractive stuff.

This is a really great collection of your favourite Holdens. Us and other visitors were reliving our experiences with the different models on display. Lots of interesting info and stories on the cars and set up is easy to get around. Well worth the money and the time.
