Came here for breakfast, shared a scone with my sister which was certainly sufficient. Coffee was good. Picnic tables and a nice grassy area in which to eat. Tasted 3 different varieties of strawberry, chose the one we liked best but there were only 3 rows of that variety. Filled up my container with another variety which was not a problem as they still tasted good. Picking is fun, there was mud between the rows of strawberries and we saw one chap with plastic booties covering his shoes, but we didn't bother. Staff were very helpful. $9 per 500g (including the $3 entry) is more than you'd pay in a supermarket, but given that we ate as we picked and the picking itself was fun, I would happily go back.

That is an excellent review thanks Loki_crazycat!
You've encapsulated the PYO Experience beautifully... Fun to pick, fun to eat, best fresh off the plant!
We can't wait to host you again at our farm and be sure to check out our strawberry ice cream or some of the preserves when next stopping by! We'd love to hear your comments on those as well :->

We popped into The Strawberry Pick yesterday, such a fun morning!
Entry was $3 per person and then you could buy either a 500g container for $6 or a 1kg container for $12 for your strawberries to go in. You were also able to sample the berries as you picked them!
We thought this way of doing things was much better than the other strawberry farm we visit in NSW, where entry is free but you aren’t allowed to sample and you weigh your berries when you’re done - sometimes getting a big shock at the price!
The strawberries were plump and juicy, we ate some when we finished picking, then ate the rest on the bank of the Murray River with some Nutella, yum!
There was a cute caravan selling some strawberry flavoured treats plus coffee however as we only had one day in Echuca we had to quickly move onto our next activity and didn’t have time to have anything, it sounded delicious though!
Definitely recommend visiting The Strawberry Pick!

I don’t eat strawberries so we did this for the experience, heaps of strawberries to be picked, price was worth the experience more so with the 2 different sizes available and it kept my son highly entertained trying to find and pick his own definitely worth it if you have young kids or just love strawberries

When there with young childrens, it's a good experience for the kids. The road to the farm is rough and dusty. Farm is quite small but if you got an 1 hr to kill it's perfect.

Hi Ojassy,
We're pleased to hear that you had a good time with the kids at our farm.
Unfortunately, we can't do much about the unsealed road, however a good tip for the next visit, for a shorter dirt road drive is to come along 'Brown Rd' first, which is a bitumen road.
If coming from Echuca, turn left onto bitumen 'Brown Rd' and then approach our farm by turning right at the unsealed 'Lady Augusta Rd'. This is only about 400m on unsealed road, which is a bit shorter than the 1km unsealed approach from the Murray Valley Hwy.
Hope this helps and look forward to seeing you again in the near future.

The Strawberry Pick, Echuca, is a ‘must visit’ for families(young and old), couples, groups, anyone who enjoys a relaxing wander among row upon row of delicious strawberries, picking and eating as you go. It is a family friendly experience, where parents and kids can enjoy a stress-free stroll along the rows, picking from a variety of naturally sweet and succulent strawberries. As well as the berries, you can also pick from a wide choice of fresh flowers for a vase or drying, or even from a selection of fresh seasonal vegetables. Then, once you have finished picking, you can enjoy a coffee or cold drink and scones topped with beautiful strawberry jam and double-whipped cream or a refreshing strawberry ice-cream or sorbet. Or, dip your freshly picked strawberries into a rich, melt in your mouth, chocolate sauce. And, on the way back to your car, you can pick up a ‘trio pack’ of strawberry jam, strawberry sauce and a strawberry balsamic glaze. Frequent visitors can also enjoy the benefits of a ‘loyalty card’, which adds even greater value to return visits. The Strawberry Pick is a great place to visit, for both locals and visitors.

We spent the morning out at the strawberry pick and the kids thoroughly enjoyed the experience. Easy to find (5min out of town), and has plenty of parking.
The kids were focused on picking the largest juiciest sweetest strawberries they could find and there were plenty! We went back for more punnets to fill and the extras made great little gifts for our family and friends.
We had a chat with Wayne (one of the owners, very friendly and helpful) and he showed us the different varieties, which we compared, and he recommended which rows had the best fruit.
The kids had a picture taken with the "head-in-the-hole" photo board, which was a nice touch and also a sit on the picking carts.
We ended up tasting the Strawberry Jam, the Strawberry Sauce and the Strawberry Balsamic Glaze (very tasty, a must try) and bought a few of each as part of the trio bundle deal (ask them about it). We'll be keeping these ones from ourselves though, yum! Would be great in a gift basket too.
We'll be back again next time we're in town. Country air, sunshine and fresh fruit for the kids. We will stock up on some more of the condiments too!!

We took one of our grandchildren here for the first time to pick strawberries and take them home to her family for dessert. She thoroughly enjoyed the experience and it was a pleasure to walk up and down the rows of strawberries assisting with making decisions about what she should pick to take home. Certainly a great experience and well worth the time. Yes will do it again.

It is great to have a nice review, but even better to hear the story of where and how our strawberries were used!
I think in this age of technology, we see kids out in the patch having the time of their lives, eating healthy berries and wanting 'more' of the good stuff. We hope to see you and the Grand kids on your next visit :->

We have been meaning to visit for a while - well worth the trip! Delicious strawberries, beautiful flowers to pick and lots of fun for myself and my 3 year old! Balsamic dressing and ice cream were a hit too - we’ll be back!

The Strawberry Pick is a must when you head to Echuca. The yummiest strawberries and corn. The staff are super friendly. Would highly recommend! ⭐️⭐️⭐️

We're glad you enjoyed our offerings and although the corn isn't ready pre-Christmas, we do have our new Flower Patch open now, which looks amazing and offers the chance to pick you own flowers!

We took our young family here and had a fantastic morning out picking (and eating lots of!) strawberries. The patch has a real country feel - hard to believe it is so close to the city centre. The staff were awesome - very friendly and we had a lovely time chatting to them. The strawberries are well worth the effort in picking them- they are DELICIOUS. So sweet! A great couple of hours of entertainment, with the added bonus of the kids eating so much fruit without even realising! We will definitely be back.

The beauty of our variety of strawberries we grow is that where kids (and adults for that matter) are concerned, they taste as sweet as lollies but are healthy eating!
Thanks for the epic review and hope to see you on your next trip and show you our ice cream and sorbet options as well as our PYO flower patch.
Regards,
The Strawberry Pick Team
