Lovely way to cruise along the river. Nice warm day and interesting to see the crowds on the small areas of beach as we passed.

Great cruise up the river with friendly and informative staff. The stories were great, and the boat was pet-friendly. Surprisingly there were no stories about Traditional Owners and their use of the river.

A group of us done the 1 hour cruise aboard the PS Alexander Arbuthnot to the East and West of the Echuca Port Wharfe. The commentary was done by the young skipper who knew his history. But...it added to the history of the steamer and the flag. Even though it was only a 1 hour cruise, it was enjoyable.

We felt like we were in the mid-1800’s. The commentary was excellent and gave us information we’d probably not have easily discovered. We went in the Alexander Arbuthnot. You could clearly see all the mechanical apparatus and how the steam worked. Gliding along the river, not a ripple. Fantastic way to spend a couple of hours.
