A great place to relax with a picnic or barbecue. A swimming pool is in the park which is surrounded by lively gardens and lawns.

Great place to visit could spend 10 min or several hours. Very relaxing and picturesque Divided into sections for adults and a special area for children certainly worth a visit

Bendigo Botanic Gardens has some mature exotic planting as the old core but also some new planting, an aviary (as the remnant of what was once a garden zoo) and the war memorial gateway- neabry to the bold new Garden for the Future.

whilst it is a nice park like setting it really doesnt have the characteristics of a botanic garden and some garden beds almost look neglected.
