As you walk around Bendigo, with plenty of stops in the shade, Jill’s commentary brings the gold rush times to life. You can easily imagine the tents everywhere and the sound of the picks and shovels as the men desperately tried to get the gold out of the earth. Some interesting nuggets like the push for the 8 hour day coming out of Bendigo and also being the home of the demand for federation. Worth the time if you are interested in history.…

Jill was exceptionally knowledgeable of Bendigo History. Gave a great insight into many aspects of Bendigo's social history and the people involved in Bendigo's past and present. Would recommend the tour to anyone who has an interest in Bendigo's fascinating History.

Jill took us on a two-hour walking tour, covering Bendigo's history. We thoroughly enjoyed the tour and were fascinated by how the Red Ribbon Rebellion movement leads to Eureka Stockdale and subsequently the Federation formation. We would definitely recommend this tour to anyone visiting Bendigo.…
