This is a cheap must $20 well spent. Gave us the feel to more. Lady was really friendly and views were on point.

I recommend this to everyone who is visiting Launceston, after climbing up around the quarry face you are greeted by a lovely lass who secures you to the cable hang glider. You then run off the end of the platform and enjoy the amazing rush of fresh air. Highly recommended.

Was there this morning. Owner ( and operator as well) was stationed at the top of the hill. Follow the foot path up and we were greeted by the friendly lady, Katherine. She was all smiles and gave us a panoramic introduction of the bird's eye view of the place. We paid for a family package and she threw additional... More

Great staff, clean, felt very safe. this is a very mellow activity. Beautiful view. But if you are looking for the 'flying' or 'falling' feeling, that is not it. this is a smooth ride, nothing scary, easy to do and enjoyable. it only lasts a few minutes, you can bring your belongings (backpack) as there is a space to leave... Got kitted out but just before starting the experience I became very nervous. The lady was lovely, patience and encouraging. So glad I did this. Once off the runaway it was brilliant and the views were stunning.

For first timer the ride is fun and exciting. In safe hand of the friendly and helpful lady who runs the place.

My partner and I both had a go at this last year. The lady who runs this is absolutely lovely, friendly and helpful. The place is beautiful in the forest setting above an old quarry, the rigging was very professional with a modified (real) hang glider she explained was engineered by her husband. On first impression I felt very safe... More

The lady Christine(?) who runs the hang gliding business is amazing and super friendly. I couldn't go through the entrance as the weather was bad so I called her and she got me to try coming another day. I called her in the morning to check and she offered to pick me up from the city. Long story short, she... More

My partner and I did this today, it is only 200 metres and thought it would be a piece of cake however it is quite breathtaking when you take off. You get strapped up and then run off a platform and over a cliff while you are connected to the hand glide. It isn't expensive and it's really quite good... More

All of about 10 minutes from the city centre, this is a place we've been meaning to visit for years. Conveniently, you can book a time & pay online prior to going. Arriving, we parked the car & walked up to where we were to launch off the deck. It's affordable & although quick, it's worth it because it's super... More
