A visit to Launceston’s dAda mUse Dali gallery
I visited this amazing Dali collection today. It is housed in Launceston’s iconic Johnstone and Wilmot building which has been carefully restored - great to visit in its own right. The Dali collection is varied, vast and fantastic (as the artist would have intended!) Beautifully presented and an absolute pleasure to visit. Great amenities and friendly staff. How lucky are we to have this world class permanent exhibition in our city?
We are so happy to hear that you enjoyed your visit! Thank you for coming and we hope to see you again soon!

    Dali’s delights
Best curated exhibition we’ve been to in Australia and overseas. Such a pleasure to meander, ponder and wonder within Dali’s realm of surrealism - all within an 1842 building in Launceston - plan to return next week and recommend Dada Muse to all and sundry. Thank you
Thank you so much for coming! We are so glad you enjoyed it and we hope to see you again!

Great little regional gallery. Not at all what I expected (but in a good way) in Launceston
This is a great little regional gallery located conveniently in Launceston CBD. I really enjoyed the exhibition I attended last year and it was great value for money. The building where the gallery is located is almost a work of art itself and retains great historical significance. I loved that they have retained many of the original building features.
Thank you so much for visiting us! We are so glad you enjoyed it here and we can't wait to have you back!

Surprisingly generous showing of a private Salvadore Gali collection
Dad Muse displays over 50 works of Salvadore Gali. From early works right through to several pieces towards the end of his career. The first floor is free to see, and the second floor currently displays interpretations of Francisco Goya's works. The Goya's are below the Dali's and are displayed in red frames. Viewing and reflection on Dali's works vary on the style and period of his life from which they were created. Some of his earliest works displayed here are behind very reflective glass, which detracts a little from the overall experience. The generosity of the owner to share such an important collection of Gali and Goya is truly commendable. There are works that range from rough sketches to studies in part to complete final compositions, which gives insight to the methods and thought processes of a wonderful artist.
Thank you so much for a wonderful review and we loved having you through the gallery! We love the Goya x Dali Exhibition and we are super excited to share the next exhibition with you! There is plenty more Dali to come!
