Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

We were in a bit of a rush because we had all (the 8 of us) been to the Gorge for the morning and just managed to call into the Farmers Market in time to buy a few jars from the 'Taste of Tam O'Shanter' stall before the market closed promptly at 12 midday.
We bought some jam, tomato chutney and some pickled cucumbers. We have tried them all and they are delicious.
I would be happy and confident to recommend this produce to everyone.

This market was recommended and I can understand why. Great fresh local produce, friendly locals and a place to sit and chill while listening to the Tenor of Launceston. If you are lucky to visit Launceston on a Saturday, it is worth the visit.

Parking can be an issue, you can drive around for 10 mins trying to find a park on the street for $3 an hour or just go straight to the hotel carpark for $2.50 an hour, which had lots of available parking. We tasted lots of cheese, olive oil, wine, cider, kombucha, sausage, seafood, fruit, vegan cheese, gin and had a great time talking to all the producers. Highly recommend an hour or do sent here listening to the music and browsing

nice to visit and have a late breakfast of oysters and other local fare. not too busy but also not that many interesting stalls. worth a short visit in the morning if you want breakfast. nearby parking is not easy unless you know the area and there's limited seating to eat any food you buy! we loved the fresh and sweet oysters

Saturday event only so checked it out even though it was a bit wet. Relatively small market but an interesting range of things. Also easy to move around. Tried some different rums and pleasantly surprised how good some were and bought a couple. Was a good morning to try a different coffee roaster as well. If you have the time on a Saturday in Launceston then worth a visit.

Fantastic place to spend a weekend wandering around. Very popular in Launceston and draws a big crowd throughout the day. Lots of different stalls to check out, some amazing local produce. Greta place to get coffee, brunch and stock up on some goods.

I was delighted to be told about the market and keen to have brekkie there - chai & sourdough cinnamon roll, yum!
Market opens at 8.30am and I was there soon after. There are a variety of stalls selling fish, vegetables, pastries, gins to mushrooms. Produce looked fresh & I bought some native spice mixtures.
A market visit makes visit to Tassie complete. Fabulous experience.

What a major bonus for Launceston this market is. A great variety of fresh produce from meat and fish to veggies and juices and breads - there’s plenty of choice for everyone.
Hot food options are excellent and sitting having a breakfast roll on a seat in the sun listening to the DJ playing some cool beats makes for a fabulous morning. Get their early for the best choice of produce! We’ll done volunteers, it’s awesome!

This market, which is held weekly on Saturday mornings, has its own dedicated paved area on Cimitiere Street.
Lots of stalls, well spaced, with seating areas.
Stalls sold mostly fresh produce (fruit and vegetables, meats, seafood, artisan bread, pastries and dairy). There were though some spirit providers as well as artisan preserves, pickles, cured meats and salami, honey etc plus some ready to eat take away offerings.
Would visit every week to stock up the fridge and the pantry if we lived in Launceston.

Wow! What a wonderful experience to peruse the produce at the Harvest Market in Launceston on a Saturday morning.
Not too big, not too small, this market gave visitors and taste of what northern Tasmania has to offer in fresh and unique fruit and veg as well as a range of artisan products like no other. Make sure to take a string bag and load up. Made me wish I could shop there every week! Lucky Laucestrians :-)

hi
I will be coming in a caravan. Is there any carpark nearby that i can park a caravan?
Thanks.

Read you have car parking available at the markets. What time does the car park open & how much is it?
Written 12 September 2018
In the street but you need to get early to get a space, otherwise there was an undercover car park across the road.
Hope this helps ...

Hi there, people do tie their dogs up at the gate at their own risk, but unfortunately due to council regulations we are unable to have dogs within 10m of food, which means dogs cannot come into the market area itself.
Kindest regards,
from the Harvest Launceston Team

Is there free parking available on the streets at the market?
Written 18 June 2017
Hello!
We have parking available in the car-park area just next to the market which is paid. There is free parking available at Willis Street which is one block across. There is also a small amount of on street parking on both Cimitiere St and Cameron St.
