Providence Vineyards, Tasmania's oldest established vineyard, was first planted by Frenchman Jean Miguet in 1956. Nestled in the foothills of Brown Mountain in Tasmania's northeast, the vineyard is renowned for its fine Pinot and Chardonnay wines. The cellar door is open 10:00 am to 5:00 pm daily from 1 September to 31 May and from Friday to Monday 1 June to 30 August. A broad range of other premium Tasmanian wines are also stocked. Wines can be delivered freight-free by the dozen anywhere in Australia.

Wasn't a welcoming experience. Felt as though I'd interrupted his day. Had a selection available to taste but was not a great overall experience at all. Dissapointing. Especially considering the standard of surrounding local vineyards.More
