Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

I had the most wonderful tour in the Walls of Jerusalem National Park. The guides were personable, knowledgable and made the experience comfortable and engaging. Every aspect of the tour was well organised and well communicated. I would highly recommend the tour!

This was such a fabulous experience. I was a bit nervous about going solo at the age of 80 but everybody and everything worked wonderfully. Our guides went out of their way to take good care of us. The rest of the group were considerate, supportive and caring. The scenery was gob smacking! A real highlight for me was snorkelling at Trousers Point on a 35C day when most of the group was climbing Mt Strzelecki Pauli, our guide, took us there and we had such an incredible time. the fish were amazing. I got part way up the mountain but could definitely not manage the summit. I did summit Mt Killiecrankie.
Thank you all involved for an incredibly good tour.

Just back from a South Coast Trek with Trek Tours, and what a fabulous trip! The organisation was exemplary and the guides were first class, very attentive, hard-working and flexible as problems presented themselves. Highly recommend !

The penguin cradle mountain trail is one of the most challenging trails i have done. The steepness of some of the trails incline and decline were much more than expected, so I recommend being as fit as possible. We missed the most challenging part of the Leven canyon walk due to one of our group taking a tumble into the Leven river down about 5 meters of rocks. Thankfully, he only had a shallow head wound and other bruising. He was airlifted out though due to concerns regarding his head wound. A timely reminder of how easy it is to slip up at any point on the track. The guides were completely professional the whole way and managed to find a way around getting the rest of the trail completed. We had great weather until paddy's lake camp which was cloud based but it cleared the next day. Loved the diversity of the walk and scenery along the way. Highly recommend this trek.

Hey! Thanks for your 5 star review Anne - we really value your support and thank you for continuing to adventure with us. The PCT is a unique bushwalk - old school in a way - that is not to be underestimated. The distances are large (for Tassie standards) and the gradients steep, not just the Leven Canyon. Well done on completing the trail and we can't wait to create your next adventure together. Best regards, Nick and the entire Trek Tasmania team

I did the Overland Trail with Trek Tasmania in January 2023 and it was amazing! Our guides were incredible and knew every inch of the Track, which made for a great experience.
We were very lucky with the weather and so got to do all the add on walks including climbing both Cradle Mountain and Mount Ossa so really made the most of it. I had not camped, nor hiked for more than one day before, but thanks to the very detailed packing guide I was able to be very well prepared and the guides were brilliant in making sure everyone had a great experience.
Lots of nice surprises including wonderful places to swim each day (you just had to be brave enough (or grubby enough) to jump into very cold water and ever fresh salad for lunch every day which was totally unexpected on such a remote hike.

Hello HeidiM332, Thank you for the support and the great review of your trip. Amazing to have made use of the weather and got to the summits - not always the case with our special Tassie island weather. Very nice to hear that your first multi day trek went so well and was thoroughly enjoyed. Appreciate the kind words on your guides - this has been passed on :-) Thanks again for choosing to trek with us and we hope to be adventuring with you again soon. Best regards, Nick and the entire Trek Tasmania team

I recently completed a six day guided tour of Flinders Island with day walks each day. Stayed at a standing camp at Kilikrankie beach. Highlights were climbing Mt Strzelecki and Mt Kilikrankie, beach walks, great coastal views, lots of wildlife. Guides Kate and Mitch were helpful, informative and versatile. Very enjoyable experience.

Recently completed an 8 day trek along the South Coast Track with Trek Tasmania. They were fantastic. Their pre tour service was exceptional with emails, information, packing lists, etc and were always easy to contact by phone for all those extra questions.

Any equipment they provided was top notch and the meals & snacks were filling and plentiful.

Our trek guides were amazing. Knowledgeable, friendly, and attentive to our health and wellbeing whilst on the trek.

The South Coast Track is challenging and beautiful. You will experience awesome beaches, rugged mountain ranges, many creek crossings, forests and mud.... lots of mud!

Would not hesitate to recommend Trek Tasmania for your next adventure. Just do it!

We did the South Coast Track. Apart from the drop toilets a total wilderness experience. It was physically challenging (I’m 63) and very muddy. The views, forests, and beaches awesome and pristine. Our guides kept us safe and laughing. The food they cooked was delicious. Highly recommended for those who would like to extend themselves.

Our 6 day hike through the walls of jerusalem with trek tours was fabulous. we had a great group and mitch and matt were wonderful guides. it was like going with a bunch of friends without having to do any organizing, cooking or heavy lifting. it was a treat to walk through such spectacular and unique country especially the more remote part of the trek, really pristine wilderness.

Excellent 6 day hike through Walls of Jerusalem National Park with TrekTasmania. Exceptional guide Jen was highly professional tailoring the days to our preferences and abilities. Highlights were many including the beautiful lakeside camps, Mt J and Solomons Throne and of course the magnificent climb to Mt Raguna with breathtaking 360 degree views.
Thank you so much guides Jen and Rylie, both fantastic beginning to end and to TrekTasmania. I highly recommend this company and the 6 day Walls hike.
