My friends and I went on the half day tour with cheese wine tour and had an absolutely amazing experience. We went to 4 different wineries throughout the day, all with stunning views and great wine and cider. The cheese platter with homemade relish was delicious. Jeremy went above and beyond to make sure we enjoyed our tour, from explaining the history of the different vineyards in the Tamar Valley to giving us recommendations in Launceston and dropping us directly off at the pub after our tour was over!

Would highly recommend going on a tour of the Tamar Valley with Valleybrook Wine on Wheels.

Hi kchan95 Thank you for our day together and then saying it was an amazing experience. You and your friends Karmi were delightful and eager to look and learn as the day unfolded. Does make the day easy for me as the history of the area and the people of the vines tell you about themselves. And for a moment you too are part of the Tamar Valley and its peoples. You asked for, we showed, and you all remembered our time shared. Hope to see you all again over another cheese platter and that relish. Best wishes for 2021 Jeremy and Stephanie

We booked a full day and a half day tour with Valleybrook from the UK months in advance. It was worth planning ahead to ensure we had such a knowledgeable and easy going host. Jeremy knows the Tamar Valley area and the vineyards to visit. He had plenty of stories to share and obviously has a great rapour with the staff at th vineyards. First day was 6 vineyards, stopping for a fabulous lunch on the way round.
Final stop included a selection of cheeses to try with the wine. So much food, no dinner required! Second day was the east side, more fizzy wine tasted - yummy.
Again lunch en route and cheese at the end.
Jeremy made the whole experience enjoyable and we would definitely recommend booking a private tour if you like your wine & want to know about the area and the vineyards you're visiting

We thoroughly enjoyed our half day wine tour with Stephanie. We were picked up at our accommodation at 10.50 and escorted around four fabulous wineries in great comfort and with excellent commentary. Lunch was relaxing and delicious and in the course of our tour, we sampled beautiful Tasmanian wines at each winery and our appreciation for Tamar Valley wines is secure. Highly recommended.

Hi Catherine and Neil Thank you for your lovely comments about the Tamar Valley and the wines made with love. I was lucky enough to have you as my guests for the day as we explored this magical area that to many is still a mystery unfolding. You came and saw our little secret ... We hope to see you on tour again with Valleybrook. Best regards Steph

The team at Valleybrook Wine On Wheels tour did a fantastic job of looking after our group of 8. We were celebrating a 70th birthday, and 90% were Launceston locals, but still went to new destinations and learnt about the close by Tamar vineyards. Our guide was professional and courteous and I would recommend this for a single traveller right up to groups. Thanks for a great day to remember!

Hi Karlinkaf1108 Thank you for your kind comments about your tour with us. It was a pleasure taking you all around the Tamar vineyards as the young man celebrated his 70th birthday. Amongst friends and with lots of humour the day unfolded making my job so easy. And fun. As for your guide being 'professional and courteous', thank you. A better recommendation could not be asked for. And when I left, the real party was going to begin ... Best wishes for 2021 Jeremy and Stephanie

We were picked up and dropped off at our accommodation by Jeremy in his Volkswagen microbus. We went to Velo, Swinging Door, Cabbage Tree Hill, Goaty Hill, Holm Oak, and Loira vineyards. Jeremy obviously has a good rapport with these cellar doors, and a good local knowledge. The price of the tour includes tasting at all vineyards, a platter lunch, and a cheese platter at the final vineyard. We were picked up at 9:50am and dropped off at around 6pm. So it is excellent value for money. We had two other couples on the tour, thanks go to Peter and Margaret, and Simon and Chrissy for their enjoyable company too. We highly recommend this company. I had to deal with Stephanie to book the tour which was an easy and pleasant experience as well.

Hi Stewart and Julie A big thank you for your in depth itinerary, and for remembering everyone's names. Thank you all, as you made the day as well. Next time you travel with us I'll be in the back and you can be the guide. Well done. As you can see our wines shine, the wineries are small and intimate, where the owners, wine makers and locals care, and together create that enticing country feeling enticing you to slow down and enjoy the day. And you all travelled with us on the last day in 2019, so I hope we, and Tasmania left you with a lasting impression. Good luck for 2020 Best wishes Jeremy

We did the half day wine and cheese tasting tour with Steph who was so lovely and accommodating, and very knowledgable about the area wines. I would highly recommend Valleybrook Wine on Wheels as they were easy to contact and provided outstanding service. I would definitely take another tour with them the next time I'm in Tassie!

Hy Hayley Thank you for your lovely review. Always great to get feed back from our customers so we know we are doing things right. We are very fortunate to live and work in an amazing place such as the Tamar wine region, not a hard sell. We look forward to seeing you next time in our beautiful state Best regards Steph

We did the half-day tour with Steph. It was such a wonderful day and Steph went above and beyond to ensure that we had the best experience possible - even arranging cheese and crackers and for our wine to be sent home at our last stop! The lunch at Loira was absolutely incredible and each vineyard was unique. We would definitely recommend Valleybrook Wine on Wheels Tours for anyone considering a wine tour in the Tamar Valley!

With the current situation, we were surprised to be picked up by Jeremy as his only 2 guests for the day. We had fully involved experience. The 5 wineries he chose to visit were all small operators, who all had great personalities. We had some of the best wine tastings ever with a lunch charcuterie board neither of us could finish, all local produce. We made several purchases along the way to continue experiencing great wine after the tour finished.

Highly recommended.

Hi jbfurrell Thank you for your kind comments about your day with me. It is really nice to have small groups of people as then you can get a intimate report happening, and hence a day to be remembered. We have many small wineries and owners down here which is fantastic for the gentle push here in the Tamar Valley as we are sitting on quality wines and a family experience as you hear their stories. You mention lunch, its pretty fantastic and as I say to my guests not many people finish it. A challenge! Enjoy your wine, and both of us together made the experience Best regards for 2021 Jeremy and Stephanie

Awesome day of wine tasting that we have never tried before. Jeremy was a careful driver, extremely well organized, personable, informative and great with the kids. Despite the fact that we visited in the winter, Jeremy ensured we still experienced the best of the Tamar Valley

Hi 294dessiem Your response has brought a smile to my face. As parents it was very good [and brave] of you to include the children for the day, and congratulations to you all as they were very well behaved. Your children were lovely and we did have fun together, so as not to feel forgotten during the day as the adults tried the wines. As you can imagine when traveling as a family you have to be well organized,a careful driver, personable and informative so the day becomes easy. I hope that together we have left a lasting memory with each and all. The smile says so much

Jeremy is a consummate host for your day out at the wineries in the area. He’ll make you laugh, he’ll make you think about wine: how to select it, how to appreciate it, how to store it at home, and so much more. It will be a thoroughly enjoyable experience.

Hi Adam and the crew Thank you. That is so nice to hear, and thank you again. Happy Birthday Ellie. I do say a lot during the day. As Adrian (with a smile) from Loira Vines says 'you are stuck with me for the day'. Hopefully that's a good thing. Wine is wine and is to be drunk, I just try to suggest different ways of appreciating its qualities and drinkability. So swirl away and have fun, is it time to explore the Tamar's wines? If I said I had a great job, would you believe me! Best wishes to you all for the future.
