Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Small remembrance museum as part of the RSL. The information is reflective of the times, and it is respectfully done. If it is locked, staff are happy to open it up for you. Well worth looking at. Lest we forget.

I have already given this a spiel on its content and content. For a mini-museum of remembrance, I cant say more to all the contributors of this beautiful shrine remembering our fallen. Less we Forget.

It really is worth the time to have a wander through the tremendous collection in the museum. From pre Boer War to current operations, there is such a variety of elements to be appreciated. The effort the RSL has made in detailing these pieces also deserves to be commended.

We visited the Museum with a friend whose late husband was a Korean War veteran. It was very moving to see his medals, photos and other memorabilia and we were pleased there is such a special place for them to be displayed. The Museum covers several rooms and has an amazing collection.

I have been to military museums around the world, both national museums and small club museums, and I must say, the RSL museum in Mt Gambier is very impressive. It is very well presented and easy to view all the displays. There Is great range of items, from the fist world war up to, and including Afghanistan and Iraq.
Cudos to the people who have put this collection together, your hard work has created an excellent collection.
I strongly recommended a visit to the Mt Gambier RSL Museum.

You can enjoy a coffee and cake in club chairs or enjoy a meal with a selection of salads or vegetables. They have a pokies room for those who like to dabble that way. Very comfortable atmosphere.

Being overseas visitrs we didn't really understand why our Australian friends wanted to visit this museum. However even for us it was great to see so much of Australian war history in such a small area. Many exhibits are given to the museum by locals and the museum itself is operated by volunteers and entry is free. Great to see how some people keep their country's history alive.
