Temptation is a 58 foot sailing catamaran which has been doing wild dolphin swims daily since 2001, in this time we have never been out on a dolphin cruise and not seen dolphins. In fact we will give you all your money back if dolphins are not seen on this cruise. Dolphins always come over to Temptation and you can stand or lay above them on our front nets. If you wish to swim, no worries (but book early to avoid disappointment) this is a totally wild experience, no feeding, no touching just viewing from within the water. Because these are wild dolphins we have strict rules to abide by (both for the safety of the swimmers and the dolphins) and sometimes it can be rushed to get the swimmers in the water and sometimes the crew do need to yell so that the swimmers know which way to look under water. If you book in for a swim and on the day change your mind, no problems we can refund the difference (direct bookings only), especially for young children who decide they don't want to swim, that way they don't need to feel forced to go into the water. Remember you will always see more dolphins from on board, but seeing wild dolphins underwater is just amazing.

Have been on this dolphin watch cruise many times before (watch only) but this was the best trip ever. Morning cruise. Many many dolphins. Came very close to the boat, with some even following and riding the bow wave as we slowly returned to Glenelg. Perfect weather. Very knowlegeable staff. A great time had by my visitors from the UK.... More

Had a great time on a twilight cruise. Went with my friend and enjoyed every single minute. The weather was perfect, crew - very friendly, easygoing and made a fun safety briefing before departure. They played subtle and nice music during the cruise and drinks were served from the bar. Highly recommend any of their tours even for locals :)

I've been on a few dolphin tours around Australia and New Zealand and never been successful with swimming with dolphins, with temptation I've never seen so many Bottlenose dolphins in one group before. They came past me and my brother and looked us eye to eye. I've seen documentary's and this was like watching it on tv, it was the... More

I booked these guys on the 8th October 2016 for a group of 19 people to celebrate a variety of birthdays. We paid for the hire and the drinks package and I have to say it was fantastic. Not only were the crew Louis and Steve friendly, on the ball and customer focussed but we also got marine biology thrown... More

Waterwas dirty close to Glenelg due to a lot of rain so the boat went out into deep water... More

Temptation sailing was amazing for our dear friends Hen's day. Everybody had a great time, the staff were always wonderful to deal with leading up to the day and on the day.

Well it was definitely an early start for the morning cruise. All three of us were booked for the dolphin swim experience. I found it extremely difficult, much harder than i thought it would be and didn't see a dolphin but my daughter loved being in the water and saw a few dolphins swim close by. After my son and... Early morning rise to go swimming with dolphins. After awkwardly getting fitted into wetsuit, off we went. I wouldnt really say it was "swimming" with dolphins, i would call it "quietly manouvre yourself into water with other people attached to a rope and dip your head in" The water is murky though so can barely see dolphins through goggles. When... More

Thank you for taking the time to write your review, we appreciate your feedback. Unfortunately Adelaide has been experiencing some pretty average weather lately with a lot of rain. The rain has caused flooding and therefore our water outlets are pushing a lot of water into the sea, creating murky waters off our shores. We have been heading wider than... More
