Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Love the bay/glenelg pier apart from the amount of people always around and the beach is not one of my favourites but great for anyone visiting :)
Restaurants everywhere!

Good place for an evening stroll after a hot day
The pier needs a lick of paint and some TLC., but very popular with the locals looking for a bit of sea breeze in their lungs

The Glenelg Pier and the beach and the waterfront is sadly a little tacky despite the historic buildings and ocean view, it could be so much better.

If you want a ‘cheap’ experience this is the place to go!

Full of people trying to hard

Better to miss it and go to Grange or Henley if you want a better more authentic experience

The Glenelg Pier is at the end of Jetty Road and is a great place to watch the sunset, especially if you walk out to the end. Easily reached by public transport it’s a pleasant spot to enjoy a picnic lunch. A must visit place when in the area. Its also one of the best places to watch the sunset.

The pier leaves Moseley Square and head West into the sea. It is a pleasant view into the distant blue and also back to the shore.

The Glenelg Pier almost seems to be an extension of the main street of Glenelg. Its almost the first thing you see when getting off the tram. There always seems to be plenty of people enjoying a wander along the pier and from the end you can look back and have a great view all the way along the beach.

We took the tram down to Glenelg for the morning. The weather was perfect as we walked along the jetty. I was a little dissappointed as the Glenelg wheel (which we had come to see & ride wasn't on the beach). We looked at the Centaur & walked along the streets close to the tram browsing in the shops. I was looking for souvenirs of Adelaide but found it hard to find any.

We booked a nice park view 1 bedroom apartment for $500 on sat night. We got offered a free ocean view “upgrade”. It was more of a down grade. They put us right above a nightclub. We couldn’t sleep until after 2am and now have to drive back to Melbourne. There was a booger on the shower wall so that wasn’t cleaned. Didn’t dare use the bath. There were sex stains all over the couch and cushions. Just horrible. We got told the manager will be in on Monday and to send an email to them when we made them aware of the state of the room. Not good enough. I have uploaded photos of the above mentioned. It's early Monday evening and still haven't heard from this "manager". My fiancé Nikki and I have never been treated so badly!
