Judging by the happy faces it's a big hit with the little people, well presented plenty of shade and lots of activity for the children, well patrolled by life guards, but with all the signs telling people to look after their child,it is not and nether should it be a baby sitting service .

It's a great place for a dip especially that its free but unfortunately they close it far too early. Also I now refuse to go prior to 3pm as the largest deepest pool is not open until then and the middle pool gets far too hot. On one occasion that I did turn up early on a hot day to... More

Always a fun day out. My little boy always has so much fun and there's lots of shade which is great. We often have family visiting from the Gold Coast and Victoria and they practically live there when they're up and they can't believe there's no charge! Definitely a must on a hot day.

Lovely big pool area with a mini waterpark for the little kids. The canteen was a little slow but the chips were yummy. Some more shaded areas would be nice in the heat.

Lifesavers on duty at all times clean facilities and a reasonably priced basic cafe - great place to keep the kids happy for a few hours - don't forget the sun screen and... More

We always pop in for a paddle to cool off when in Mackay. On our recent visit we noticed a few local deros filming and harassing female backpackers- good to see the police quick to move them on.

Big pool great for a swim, kids pool too cold. Lots of space. Toilets not clean - too much water on the floor and no hooks behind doors in showers. Closes too early (5:45) in the middle of summer when it's still light until after 7pm.

Very nice place to spend a day if you are around this place. Very well keep and patrolled by life guards. Some water slide and play area for the kids, there is also a cafe where you can buy a coffee or a snack. We will recommend it to anyone who is around Mackay city. One thing that need to... More
