Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Was picked up from the Hilton Hotel on Elizabeth Street at 6:50am. Guide was friendly, would have been nice to have a group introduction when everyone hopped in the van but that’s ok.

Made our way to the Gold Coast and then headed to the mountains! Had morning tea before doing the 5km hike at Springbrook - morning tea consisted of lamingtons (iconic!), fruit, muesli bars, packets of chips and tea and coffee.

Such a peaceful walk with small talk along the way. Good knowledge about the waterfalls, some of the trees and a few plants but really not bothered by that since I was there for the walk.

Had lunch and it was very nice! Bread rolls with your choice of meats and salads. Water in the van at all times so you could always fill up your water bottles.

Overall great trip, amazing tour guide very down to earth, and super amazing sites. Would definitely recommend to all.

Thank you for joining us on our Springbrook Tour :) It's great you enjoyed yourself and found the scenery amazing! Excellent feedback about an improvement we can make to our tours! We'll introduce new guests as they enter the van to create a more welcoming environment for everyone on our future tours. Thanks again!

This is a great day tour. The pick up was really good and flexible. The guide, Julian, was lovely and very knowledgable. The morning tea and lunch were unexpected and very nice. Ponchos were provided which was great as it was a very wet day. And the rain forest was amazing.

This is one of the best tours we've experienced - ever! Kaylene is a top-notch professional. She is courteous, knowledgeable and is very caring about the experience. She is a fabulous advocate of nature and is exactly the type of person anyone interested in taking this tour would want. Kaylene never rushed us and we felt as though we had known her for years! Whether or not your hiking resume is empty or impressive, Kaylene will provide a fabulous time. This is one of the best value adds we found during our Holiday. So much FUN!
Actually, if I could rank this a 10 star rating - I would. Full speed ahead to anyone considering this adventure. You will not be dissapointed.

I can highly recommend Kaylene at Rainforest Tours who has the organisational skills, knowledge and bush walking expertise to bring together a group of diverse individuals for a sensational 2 day adventure in the beautiful Lamington National Park.

Comfortable bush walking clothes and shoes are essential however, Kaylene gives you a list of exactly what you need to bring so you are fully prepared prior to arrival.

The highlight for me was the peace and tranquility of the rainforest environment, which gave me the perfect opportunity to talk to my teenage daughter, without the interference of technology. We were able to walk in the "same direction" and share a natural, precious and wonderful experience together, in the safety of a group. We would not have done this adventure on our own otherwise. Meeting new people who we would not have otherwise met in our busy daily lives, was another highlight for us both.

Rainforest Tours offers so many interesting adventures, we can't wait to do our next one with the rest of our family.

Really great day with Kaylene from Rainforest Tours Australia. A small group of us did the Toolona Creek Circuit hike at O'Reilly's (Lamington National Park). The walk was very enjoyable, 17.5kms at a pace that suited everyone in the group. Spectacular waterfalls and beautiful rainforest flora and features that you can explore throughout the walk. And a very pleasant lunch and wind-down at O'Reilly's cafe after the walk. Well organised and informative.... yet flexible and friendly to make it "not feel like" an organised tour.

The spectacular scenery, history and the amount of knowledge you shared with us is something we wont forget. You obviously love what you do and it comes across in the whole rainforest experience. Thank you very much and you will be seeing us again very soon.

Very picturesque with many waterfalls and creek crossings. Mostly flat with a steady incline at the end which makes the walk a good all round workout. Finished with a roast lunch which topped off a great morning.

I thoroughly enjoyed walking with Kaylene and felt secure in her knowledge about the areas she takes us to. As a new person to bush walking, at first I was tentative but Kaylene has guided me and encouraged me and now I thoroughly enjoy the bush walking experience. The places we go are amazing like Coomera Circuit with all the creek crossings and also Elabana Falls. I would thoroughly recommend Kaylene and Rainforest Tours Australia to everyone. Kaylene is very passionate about the Australian Rainforest and this shows when she takes you on a tour through these beautiful places.

It was a wonderful experience to be taken on a fully guided tour. I've always loved bush walking, however due to a busy lifestyle and being a small business owner it's something that I've not had the pleasure of doing for many years.
Kaylene was terrific as a tour guide. She gave us clear instruction as to the type of terrain we would be hiking through and any areas that needed extra care and navigation.
It really was a "Walk in the Park" and a day that I will never forget.
Thanks Kaylene.
