Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

My husband Nev and I went on the Canyon Flyer on Wednesday 19/10/22 with the most awesome guides Gabby and Tyler. These two were brilliant, friendly, helpful and took our safety very seriously. We would absolutely recommend anyone interested book in for a session - 7 zip lines over 3 hours with a maximum of 10 to a group. So much fun.

Fun for everyone..even if you're a little nervous. The harness system is superior & the instruction is thorough. And as the kids go flying past you, all you want to do is catch up & show them how its done!! Beginner, intermediate & advance...start at one & go as far as you can. The ziplines are super fun...makes you feel like you're Indiana Jones!! Great day for all!!

The ziplining Canyon Flyer, is by far the ultimate mid-level adventure experience to do on a beautiful day. The gorgeous views of Mt Tambourine and Cedar Creek Falls is a picturesque, unique and deep-cut Gold Coast hinterland escape. The supervisors James and Casey were hilariously entertaining and made us feel comfortable, safe and was the cherry on top of the already marvellous experience. I highly recommend this for families, couples or a fun day with your friends. Thank you James and Casey- you champs!

To the Tree top staff
Our visit was ok though there needed to be some amendments. Here are some suggestions that will increase customers experience.
Some of which were the the staff not helping struggling climbers, the long wait about an hour at the start after inductions. The cloudy water at the end of each course was undrinkable and needs to be filtered. People in front of us were inexperienced and were very slow, causing traffic on each platform and game for the rest of the group. one of us was 160cm but was hard to put on the pully. The puzzles slowed down the the course and was a bit of a nuisance. the stoppers where prevented flow on the games and one of us got strangled by the sudden stop.
Overall, our experience was average compared to other tree climbs.

Treetop Challenge’s zip line tours was great for beginners. As a group that has been zip lining and bungee jumping before, this wasn’t quite what we were looking for. With a steeper price of 120AUD/pp, I’m not sure if it’s something that all of us were pleased about. Overall I do believe this was the best option for zip lining in the area, and I do recommend it for those who enjoy the outdoors.

There were too many people booked for same time slot, a lot of the climbers were unable to operate the safety equipment.
We were on site for 4 hours and only got through 2 courses. We spent more time on the ground waiting to get onto the courses than climbing.
Maybe it was busy because of school holidays but then there need to be more staff to help speed up getting people up onto the courses. When they put a staff member at the bottom and top of the ladder then it actually worked as they were able to operate the safety devices.
This was not value for money.
We left disappointed with this experience.

My 8 and 5 year old nephews absolutely loved it! Time slot was full but did not feel crowded - plenty of room for each child to take the time they needed. Teachers were brilliant - great with the kids, focused on safety, well organised and calm. Four levels of course gave options for different levels of confidence.

Lovely drive through the hinterland. Tambourine village worth a visit also Great fun for all of the family 8 years plus on the zip lines at Thunderbird Park 3 different levels to choose from Lots of challenging bridges and zip lines Allow 4-5 hrs Lots of other things to do The Skywalk just up the road looked amazing and Cedar creek Falls right next door Allow a full day to do all. Best to book a time slot on line for Tree Top Challenge a few days ahead if you can as very popular Also has a very nice looking camp ground and cabins at the Park
Highly recommend as a day trip while at GC

Jared & CJ were just awesome with our group of six today, including two adults who aren’t good with heights. They challenged everyone but also showed empathy when something was a little too challenging for a person to overcome their fear. They were funny & Jared remembered the names of everyone in the group, while CJ entertained the group with bush tucker food tasting. Highly recommend the experience!

We went as a family using our Getaway Queensland voucher. I’m not great with heights and a general scaredy cat about most things so this was well out of my comfort zone. I needn’t have worried. The safety briefing is excellent and they’ve upgraded their harness and attaching fixtures. There are limited numbers allowed on different sections at a time and everyone sticks to it. You start with the easy and gradually build to the black course. People shared tips and encouragement with everyone else. I didn’t complete the black course because I can’t cross monkey bars and the wind had picked up so they closed that section. It was challenging in places but a great afternoon out for the price. Tip - go early so you have time to complete the entire course if it is busy.

Hi, if I have only 2 hours for the Treetop Challenge Adventure, is it sufficient ? Could I leave the course halfway ?
Written 11 December 2018
Hello!
As The Merry Travellers says you can indeed leave half way. Our recommendation though would be to start in the first morning session to try avoid the crowds! :) Also remember to definitely book.

How do we go to treetop challenge from surfer paradise as we don’t drive, any bus can reach or tram? If yes, how to book as it require us to call them but we are from Singapore now, also the pick up is at hotel or destination place ?
Written 12 October 2018
I don’t know if there’s a bus to get there but I booked online to reserve your place, but pay when you get there.

Hi. Can my 13 y.o. do it alone without accompanying adult? As I can't do zips myself what is the best way to spend 2-3 hours nearby?
Written 24 September 2018
Hi Anna,
There will be an adult required to sign in anyone under 18 and there are a numbers of activities depending on which location you visit. At all of our locations there are cafes next to our sign in buildings and a range of other activities. At Tamborine for example there is also Mini Golf, Waterfall Walks.

Hoe does this high ropes course compare to the Thunderbird course at MtTambourine?
Written 25 July 2018
Hi Leigh,
Both of our courses at Mt Tamborine and Currumbin provide similar levels of challenge with different scenery. I would recommend looking at our website and watch the videos to get an idea for the different feel between the two.

Is there anywhere there on the park where we can rent gloves?
Written 2 July 2017
They supply gloves with harnesses etc

How Cani get there from my Gold Coast hotel?
Thanks
Written 7 January 2017
Hi there,
Escape shuttles operate a shuttle service from Gold Coast to our Mt Tamborine location. As we can not list contact information here I recommend Googling them.
Our Currumbin location can be accessed via shuttle or public transport from the Gold Coast.
Kind Regards,
The TTC Team.

We will be in Brisbane on April 1, 2016. My niece is going to school for a semester there. How far is this zipline and Tamborine from Brisbane? If to far away is there another one close. Thank you! Dianna
Written 25 February 2016
Hi Dianna
We are not too far from Brisbane and we have many people who come from the greater brisbane area. From the centre of Brisbane we are about 50 minutes drive and it's quite easy down the highway before taking exit 38 off the highway.
If you would like to speak to us, our phone number is 1300 881 446.

Hi there, I'll be visiting the area next week, I am visiting friends who work during the week and am looking for activities to do on my own. This looks like a lot of fun but I'm wondering if I would get as much out of it coming on my own? Do you go in groups or is it all just self paced?
Kind Regards
Elisha
Written 9 August 2015
Hi Elisha
David from TreeTop Challenge here, Next week we will be running 2 sessions mid-week, 10am and 1:30pm which means you will be with other customers while you are out on course. It is still self paced and you can decide to split up but normally you everyone likes to stay relatively together
Mid-week is a really fun time to come because the days are a little more relaxed and you will get to know your supervisors throughout the day as they are always there to give a bit of inspiration and a helping hand if needed.
