This exciting new Eco-Adventure offers guests a unique and thrilling way to explore the beautiful rainforest canopies. Set in a magical 30 acres of privately owned rainforest beside the crystal clear rock-pools of Cedar Creek on Mt Tamborine, Queensland, Australia.
The walk departs directly from the Eco Gallery with a comprehensive array of Australian rainforest flora and fauna displays.
The walk takes approximately 45 minutes at a leisurely pace, when pausing to view the many points of interest and information along the way.m
Beautiful Kangaroos were in the walk with us☺️

We went up to the mountain from Broadbeach at 15:30. Better earlier than that, I know. But we had to pickup my sister first from work. You could imagine how dark the environment when we got up the mountain.
The journey (by car) both dangerous & fascinating. Jaw dropping view along the way. And there we were, arrived at a spot crowded with people who had the same reason to be there: capturing spectacular sunset 🌅!!! Unforgettable experience. By the way it was last minute idea of my sister who lives in Gold Coast. Thanks sis! 🥰

Tambourine Mountain is about a 40 minute drive from Surfers Paradise, very popular place to visit when holidaying on the GC. There are some tour companies that do half day and full day tours to the mountain , these guided tours are great as the guides know all the nice places to visit and make your visit more informative and take you to all the popular areas where you can do shopping, visit waterfalls, eat at the locals cafes and restaurants. If you do have a car and want to self drive make sure you plan your day and where you want to go so you can make the most of your time on the mountain. i would defiantly recommend to visit this beautiful place .

So much see and do, stay overnight if possible. TM is spread across a large pristine area. Exquisite places to try food, wine, delectable cheese, chocolates and so much more. For the more energetic there are many walk/hikes in the area with stunning views. You will be amazed at what you'll find at TM.

Visited this place to check it out on our way back from our Country drive. Completely amazing view of the Sunset from the top, and obviously popular time for the locals and tourist to have a late picnic. Quite a romantic setting and can be colder. A lot of tours and outdoor activities to do. We didn't have time to do the tours to the falls but will definitely do it in our next trip.
There's plenty of lovely accommodation and restaurants to enjoy. It is definitely worth a trip of at least 2-4 days.

During my extended stay on the Gold Coast, my daughter, who lives there, took us to see Tamborine Mountain.
The car trip took us an hour along a winding route with stretches of beautiful landscapes among dense vegetation.
Once there, we toured the area a little and decided to walk along the central street, full of restaurants and breweries, along with shops selling crafts, of which the German Cuckoo Clock stands out with its display of countless clocks of all kinds.
In the surroundings there are several trails with routes of different lengths. After lunch we chose to visit Cedar Creek Falls. Finally, we went to the Robert Sowter Park Lookout to watch the sunset, ending a beautiful day.
A lovely walk to do something different if you have time.

It's a wonderful place to watch the sunset, walk, be close to nature and relax. It has beautiful waterfalls and panoramic views that are worth the visit, but it's worth remembering that not all of the waterfalls you can swim in. I recommend the Ceda Creek waterfall, as you can swim and enjoy nature.

We decided to take a drive to Tamborine Mtn for the day. No parking anywhere. No restaurants serving anything other than packet frozen food and toasted sandwiches. Nothing here to see other than congestion and overpriced coffee shops with little to no fresh food. Never again.

Loved the skywalk, glow worm caves, distillery and views. Not a great place to go midweek. We struggled on a tue/wed/thur to find restaurants open. Only delivery you can get would be pitza if your lucky. No transport to get to wineries ect. One taxi that is very rearly available.

Tamborine Mountain. The green behind the gold. Only 40 minutes drive from Queensland's Gold Coast beaches. Hang Glider Lookout is awesome. Tree House Cafe has the best breakfasts/brunch I've had for a while.

Easy, the roads are just fine and many vehicles go up and down daily. Kia is going to do well, just take the Oxenford Tamborine road. Good luck, enjoy.

Namaste, ostreliya aur mere ghar shahar gold kost karane ka svaagat mere Bai. Mt.Tambourine is a great spot to visit and is almost worth a whole day but not by cab. Although if you did take a cab the driver will be most likely to speak Hindi and Punjabi but not Marathi but you will find this expensive. Hire a car or take the tour with a pick up and drop off from your hotel. Tambourine has many attractions and eateries, gift shops and a winery with tastings. The views are sensational so bring your camera. I myself am from Kolkata and enjoy a day of relaxation in the mountains but they are not like Darjeeling or Simla. Whilst hear Currumbin wildlife sanctuary is a good tour and maybe our theme parks, Movieworld is good for all ages. Please enjoy.

Do most shops, restaurants and attractions on Mount Tamborine accept credit cards from the USA? Are there money changers or bank ATMs where I can get cash?

I agree. Change money before you to Mt Tamborine.

Renting a car at the airport. Will an economy car like the Hyundai i20 have enough power to get us up to Mt. Tamborine, or should we consider a more powerful car?
Written 19 August 2016
No problem, it's very steep in places so take normal caution but you will certainly be ok with the power. Enjoy!
