The tour guide Darryl Braithwaite provided a well informed summation of the historical current and future of the Gladstone Region. Excellent coverage of growth of industry which is a major factor for Gladstone. Definitely ask him to sing his rendition of “Horses”. Great Value

Wow! What a fantastic experience. Initially I was a little hesitant as I didn't know what to expect biking the countryside. However, this tour not only became a memorable experience for me, but what seemed like going off the grid for the day, actualIy recharged my batteries. Evidently, my working week post this experience, was a lot clearer and less stressful. Shoutout to Darryl our tour guide and Annie our cultural guide. Both were extremely knowledgeable of the local area and had a passion for sharing this knowledge to our tour group. The hospitality was first class and there were plenty of laughs along the journey thanks to Darryl. I would definitely do this tour again and have already asked a few friends to join later in the year.…

It was a wonderful day out with plenty of fresh air and beautiful scenery. I loved that we could get on the bus and everything was sorted. Travel (in air-conditioning) bikes, lunch and drinks. I was worried whether I was fit enough to ride the whole way, but it was a breeze. It defiantly is all down hill riding. The tour guide Darryl,...Daz or Dazza was very laid back but full of interesting history about the rail trails and also the region. Highly recommend this tour to all age groups! Thanks for a fabulous day Daz.…

Regardless if you are a local or a visitor to the region, I would highly recommend taking a part in the Boyne Burnett Inland Rail Trail tour that Darryl provided. For myself personally, I hadn't ridden a bike in many years but the section of trail we completed was much easier than anticipated as it is on a slight slope all the way to the first meeting point, so very minimal peddling is required! If you are a more serious bike rider, there is also the option to continue through to Buliyan, to meet up with the rest of the group later for lunch. You can bring your own bike or Darryl will provide a bike and helmet if you don't have one. Refreshments, lunch and cold drinks were also on offer and were delicious. We had headsets on for the bike riding portion of the tour, which was great for the slowpokes of the group! Darryl and Annie (our cultural guide) were also very knowledgeable and ensured a great day was had.…

Myself & a group of friends did the Boyne Burnett Inland Rail Trail tour and we had a fantastic day. We learnt about local early history and also about the local indigenous culture from Annie and the scenery along the trail was beautiful. You don’t need to be a seasoned cyclist as it is a slight downhill ride down to the 1st meeting point. They will provide a bike for those that do not have one and also a lovely lunch. They also provide a headset to listen to commentary along the trail which was great for some of us slower riders so as not miss out . Well worth doing for both locals and tourists alike.…
