Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Easily the best beach on the Gold Coast and property prices are starting to reflect it. Because this beach is North facing and protected by the point, it doesn't get affected by the afternoon sea breeze/winds like Surfers does. The water is consistently turquoise in color and the temperature is amazing. It's also a very protected beach to teach the youngsters surfing. Do yourself a favor and visit this gem.

Disclaimer: I am a member of the TH&C SLSC. Parking is always at a premium but Greenmount offers the largest FREE car park on the Gold Coast. All within 50metres of the widest north facing beach in the land. Nathan's KIOSK is 'on the beach' for coffee and snacks. And the Greenmount Beach Club is the best venue to view the sun set over the scenic rim.

This is a perfect beach for your Queensland holiday. Nestled in the corner behind the hill, it is well protected when the southerly comes up. The water is always crystal clear and it is often not as big as the surf at other exposed beaches on the Queensland strip. It is a patrolled beach so you can swim between the flags. Shower and toilet facilities adjacent to the beach and a great surf club for a meal

Fantastic beach for a beginner surfer, Great breaks that go on for ever, even if you can only go straight. Hours of fun, beautiful setting, with tree lined path and clear blue waters. One of my favorite places.

Really nice, clean and relaxed beach in the heart of Coolangatta. it is patrolled every day so it is safe. Excellent spot for families, great point for surfing when the SE wind blows.
Close to shops, restaurants, facilities, many surf schools operate here and they do surf lesson regularly. Just next to Snapper rocks, the famous beach where every year the ASP World Championship Tour kicks off. Absolutely in my heart!

Short stroll from our Mantra Hotel, for a gentle walk around the headland at Greenmount, to Snapper Rocks.
Plenty of eateries on the walk and views to die for.

This is our favourite beach on the GC. With beautiful walking trails and secluded beach areas it is perfect for a relaxed time at the beach. Surrounded by excellent look outs. Great surf clubs near by where you can grab a bite to eat or a quiet ale.

The walk from Coolangatta to Greenmount beach and then on and around to rainbow and Dbar is one of my favourite walks. Greenmount is a great spot for surfers or just for swimming or relaxing. well worth doing when you are up on the Gold Coast.

Are dogs allowed on leash at "Froggy's Beach on the Gold Coast? Looking to propose to my partner there and she would love to have the furbabies there... if not does anyone have aby other ideas of similar looking (quieter) places that allow dogs on leash? thanks.

I'm sorry I dont know, however either the library or Council offices both of which are nearby should be able to provide information.
