Kirra is a lovely sandy beach with good walking paths, surfers and wind surfing. Lots o nice cafes along the road and housing on one side of the road only.

Great for pubs cafes restaurants and shops. Beach is long and great for walks. Unpatrolled beaches however (while we were there) despite many in the water. Seemed strange as it was on the cusp of Qld and NSW school holidays.
