Picture perfect, plenty of power, every wave is different. Unfortunately just too crowded. Home to the Quicky Pro again March 2017

Great spot, between Rainbow Bay beach,& Duranbah Beach,NSW. Nice little rock pools for the kids to explore in,and there's a very upmarket restaurant, right on the beach, called Oscars.Walking trail from here, north to Rainbow Bay,& Greenmount.Snapper Rocks also has a good surf break for the board riders.

Met a friend who was holidaying there. Great facilities along the esplanade provided by the council - toilets, showers and clean stainless steel BBQs. The beach had clean white sand and crystal clear water, The rocks are sharp so wear shoes to visit the rock pool. Great patrolled beach for family holiday visits.

spent the day at this area yesterday and was blown away by how nice it is. Very picturesque, great little walks, water very clear, wasn't crowded. Have heard heaps about Snapper rocks and surrounding beaches but never ventured there, my loss but will now become a frequent visitor to it. Not a surfer or avid water person but love being... More

Snappers is for the surfers. No swimming recommended. You have to fight for a wave so it is for the more experienced. The locals like to take charge until this area. The view from the top is amazing to sit and watch. A must see when visiting the southern end of the coast.

Rainbow Bay has been our holiday destination for nearly 30 years . We've travelled extensively throughout Australia with the focus on our magnificent east coast. I just simply can't find a better beach than the little ripper at Snapper Rocks and Rainbow Bay just round the corner. Every time we stay there in our apartment i feel so relaxed and... More

Snapper Rocks was the first ever tame dolphin pool in Queensland created by the legendary Jack Evans. It had cement pools blasted out of the headland and some remnants remain for a nice swimming pool today! I used to haul in large numbers of seriously big snapper off this rocky headland as a kid, hence the name, but over-fishing, netting... More

There are places to just look out to sea or have a picnic. Great for time to relax and watch the surfers.

Fantastic location to have a wedding on Froggies Beach. My daughter had her wedding there 15th October, even had whales in background.
