Nestled in the middle of the Steinhardt family's original macadamia orchard on Goodwood Road, the Macadamias Australia Visitor Experience provides a journey of discovery of our native nut. Learn about the Steinhardt family's commitment to sustainable farming that goes back more than six decades through interactive displays and a self-guided tour. Enjoy a guided tasting of Macadamias Australia's range of premium nuts, included flavoured and chocolate-coated macadamias. The Visitor Experience includes a Farmgate Shop where you can purchase Macadamias Australia's range of products as well as a hand-selected collection of locally-produced items. First visit to the new restaurant cafe at Macadamias Australia
Have visited before cafe opened.
Superb meals and excellent coffee matched with friendly staff. We had the macadamia crusted Barramundi.
Recommend calling in for coffee and delicious cakes if not for lunch.
Comfortable outside dining undercover.
Afterward had macadamia tasting and some more retail therapy of nuts and their macadamia honey.
Highly recommend when travelling to Bundaberg.

The free tasty was fabulous! The staff member serving us was lovely, and knew her stuff!
Products for sale are very reasonably priced and make great gifts.

Our family visited this new tourist attraction in Bundaberg and we thoroughly enjoyed every moment! Beautiful premises, fun taste testing, kids were given a container of macadamia nuts to crack open and a lovely cafe to enjoy coffee and yummy food! There is also a little shop section. This place is so relaxing and a great place just to meet and have coffee and socialise. They have tours as well but we just did our own thing. Highly recommended! 😊

I did the "tour". Really more of a talk. You watch a video inside and then have a talk out front with the macadamia trees. It was okay, though a little pricey for what it is and the guide spoke a little too quickly for my tast

We were very happy with this visit. the complex is very new and they are obviously still working on it but we enjoyed reading the history of macadmias in Australia. We took a taste test, nothing to lose here because we both love macadamias and came away with what we thought were two well priced packs.

What an experience, the tour was very informative, the information was interesting and best of all was the tasting. The lunch was delicious and the flavours were enticing to eat the whole meal. When you enter the foyer your visual tastes are raised to the heavens. You must travel to see with your own eyes.

Never again. I took my in laws here today to their so called cafe. We were told that they had hired a chef but this person could not even make a toasted sandwich. The so called cafe is just a cake shop with cakes that had been brought in. You have an admin girl serving coffee and she has no idea what she is doing. I was so embarrassed taking family here.

The Orchard Table had been opened for a short time when you visited, and since then we have worked hard to improve our offering, efficiencies and service. I can also assure you that all of our cakes and menu items are made fresh and on-site using the freshest local ingredients by our qualified Chef. We have a seasonal menu and a great team which allows us to do this, and we hope that you consider visiting us again one day so we can improve your rating.

Beautiful property .plenty of car spaces for parking.
Lovely entrance and cafe and building
We couldn't do a tour as it's only at 10 and we were too late. So wandered the cafe and story boards behind the business. Loves the ceiling and fans ,look up when you visit. It's very very pricey tho. I really can't justify a $30 t towel but it was nice 🙂
Pristine inside .toilets so clean.not.much to do if you miss the tour.they do show you some staff working behind the scenes making macadamia products which is good. Nothing for kids to do except eat. Fills in about an hour for us. check out website for their tour costs think it was $42 pp

Brand new gem only 10 mins from the Bundy CBD. Fantastic food, family-friendly prices and stunning views of the orchard right outside the spacious modern restaurant patio. We had coffee and cake (gelato for the kids) but will be back for brunch or lunch. The meals looked amazing as they were served to tables nearby, which by the way were nicely spread out. Plenty of games and nuts to crack to keep the littlies busy.

Beautiful location and area for kids to play. First impressions were great, they have done a great job on the building and atmosphere.
We had pre-booked with large group and food and service did not meet expectations. Staff were not accommodating to any request and food was just warm and underwhelming. Some staff aren’t “authorised” to use cash register which made ordering drinks difficult, and in the end I skipped a coffee as it was too hard to find a staff member who would be willing to make one and who was able to take payment.
My recommendation would be to go for coffee, cake or ice cream (if you’re lucky enough to find someone who can accomodate you ordering). Don’t stay for food. Don’t expect polite customer service, but enjoy the location. The kids loved being able to crack macadamias and enjoyed the lawn games.
