We visit here regularly for film & photography photo-shoots. The grounds and gardens are always incredibly well maintained. Every area we walk through is just stunning and such a variety of backdrops: walkways, flower beds, the house, spoilt for choice. A great area for families...More

Situated on the North side of Bundaberg on the Gin Gin road. Idyllic setting with plenty to see. Walking access is quite reasonable with access for wheelchairs and strollers. The site does have an operating train on site and is much enjoyed by adults and...More

There is currently much work occurring to build a new Japanese Garden. The train is a novelty that brings back memories of travelling to high school on steam train each day. The garden is well laid out. Having Café 1828 is real bonus, as is...More

Well worth a visit. Well maintained and interesting. A good family place. Good coffee at the cafe. The historical museum was interesting and well set out. Unfortunately, the railway was not running that day. Plenty to see and do.

The gardens are wheelchair friendly. I think the train only runs on Sundays and some other days during the school holidays. It was not running the day we were there.
