These gardens need a lot of TLC :( they where a little neglected and run down. The water features were dark, smelly with lots of ibis nesting and taking over from the other wildlife (animals/birds). Lovely walk with lots of different garden settings (Japanese's/Balinese gardens)

I have been to the Botanic Gardens several times and it just does not get better. I see the effort the gardeners put in it but each time the water quality of the lakes seems to get worse. You really start to wonder how the animals can survive in this stinky and slimy water. The Japanese part of the garden... More

Thought I would try this for something different. There was lots to see and do from families in the park, the Japanese Gardens, there was a wedding, the Hinkler Hall of Fame and of course all of the animals. It's nice to visit at any time of the day, but I went late afternoon when it was a bit cooler,... More

We had a lovely day a couple of Sunday's ago, nice walk through the gardens, then we went on a train ride around the different sections of gardens. We took the kids to feed the ducks and overall had a very enjoyable time. The café is nice for lunch or a light snack.

A cool refreshing oasis with a large airy cafe and museums to visit. I didn't have time to visit the museums but really enjoyed walking the paths near the water and seeing the ducks and lizards and little turtles. There is a little train that runs through the park too. It's a beautiful relaxing place.

A visit to the gardens must include a trip or two on the steam train around the gardens. Why walk when you can ride and the people manning the train are all very helpful and happy for a chat. Well worth the money.

As locals we visit the gardens on a regular basis for a quiet walk with the grand kids and/or a picnic. A very relaxing place to visit and a credit to a town like Bundy.

Beautiful area for photos, access to the verandah would have made the photos better though. Gorgeous spring gardens.
