Nice little zoo with emus, Wallabies and colourful birds. This is a free zoo and with donating to while you're there to assist with maintenance. Children love it. We walked there from our motel and it was a nice family outing.

Whilst we had a little trouble finding this place via Google Maps - it’s up near the kids playground, not down at the croquet club, this was a lovely experience. The zoo is small and compact, and very easy for prams and the mobility challenged. There are quite a few different animals and they all look content and healthy with lovely habitats. It is free (donations welcomed) and we were signed in at the gate by volunteers. Afterwards my kids played in the adjacent playground. The whole park would be a great place for family gatherings or a good stop for lunch on a road trip. Right next to the Burnett River so great views as well.

Well maintained and easily accessible. The playground and amenities along with the little zoo would make a great spot for a day out with friends and family. Gorgeous little picnic spot.
The animal enclosures are clean and maintained, well designed. Easy for little humans to see the animals also.
We're so glad to have wondered through, especially taking the time to chat with the sulphur crest cockatoos.💚

Cute little place to spend 30-45 minutes. Not a huge zoo but it has a good selection of native animals plus some cheeky cotton-top tamarin monkeys. It's easy to walk around and see the exhibits up close. Best of all, it's completely free!

Just don't expect a full zoo experience. It's a great little zoo for the area and it's free and next to the park and the boardwalk to the river.gorgeous views. The zoo has a very skinny dingo and his mate, emus, lots of reptiles and cotton top monkeys and lots of beautiful colourful parrots that are just stunning. The cotton tops are fun to watch, they are so small and cute. Make a day of it with a picnic in the park and a walk along the river ..it's lovely

A small, well-presented free zoo run by the Bundaberg City Council - one which I reviewed 8 years ago. And it looks like it is very capably run with at least four staff in uniform that I observed and clean, neatly presented enclosures for the animals, reptiles, and birds. The staff were only too willing to interact with visitors and answer questions.

We visited the Zoo this morning. It may be only small, but it has some great exhibits. The white cockatoo is not overly chatty but will say hello and tell you his/her name “Cocky”. The dingos were just basking in the sun as were the swamp wallabies. Loved the cotton top tamarinds. Worth a visit. Reduced visiting hours due to COVID. Wednesday to Sunday 9:30 - 4:30.

Came to visit for the afternoon (this is cooler weather wise than expected next to the river and under great trees)
Loved the quoll and a few birds interacted, the monkeys were also cute.
It was a fun way to kill 30 minutes, as mentioned by others the park outside is lovely.
Done well for a bargain price, unsure if not staying in the area if l would make a special trip

The kids loved this little free zoo.
We spent 15 minutes here. Some of the animals are quite cute and funny.
Lots of parking in the street and big park nearby to play or relax in.

Gorgeous little zoo, and it's free. Great lace monitors and lace monitors and the monkeys were adorable. Apparently they take the dingoes out for walks which would be amazing to see.

The park is also lovely.
