Took my boys aged 5 and 8 to the Science centre last week. Fun way to learn and entertain them for a morning. Watched the Bubbles and Balloons show. And the planetarium show. Everyone had an enjoyable time.

Our grandchildren were visiting from Queensland and were excited to visit this wonderful hands on activity centre where practical science comes to life. Great for a few hours entertaining education.

Ok so my kids have now grown up but when they were younger we always had a yearlong pass......it was our go to on any wet weekend. Don't know if it still applies but our year pass used to also get us admission to Quesstacon in Canberra. As a family we loved it.

So, my land-locked family packed up the car with swimmers, bucket and body board, all ready for a fun weekend on the beach at the Gong. Only we got there to find the city half-flooded and the beach cold and dreary. I googled things for kids, and discovered the Science Centre. And what a find! My 5 year old daughter... More

We had a blast at the Wollongong Science Centre and Planetarium just over a month ago. We spent a good half day there enjoying the hands on exhibits, the planetarium shows and everything else the place has to offer. The student guides were great to deal with and explained everything with the enthusiasm of the young. The café was not... More

Always lots to look at, touch and do. Friendly staff, easy parking, many shows available. Best for children 5 and over . You can take your own food /snacks to save money. Takes about half a day to go around.

We have been there twice with Grandchildren (6 & 3) both enjoyed the experience. It was a fun day showing them how things work. The 6 year old loved the stars. The Student guides were a high light and explained things well within the children's understanding
