Equipped with high-end fishing gear, bait and expert tuition, expect to reel in a vast array of species with ease, including snapper, morwong, wrasse, flathead, leatherjacket and eastern pigfish. If your catches of the day are legal in size, you can have them gutted and cleaned to take home.

Bobby and his crew on the Aquilla are just amazing. Thier customer service was beyond excellent, combined with the Skippers experience and local knowledge they ensured that everyone on board had a fantastic day and went home with heaps and heaps of fish. There were 10 people on the boat and the collective tally of fish for the day was over 70 fish!!!
So its simple! From the experienced angler to the complete novice, if you want to catch fish and have a great time doing it, book with Aquilla, you'll be so glad you did.

Awesome day fishing with Bob.
Me hubby and our tween daughter all had a great time.
They were really great with helping my daughter and I (we had no idea what we were doing lol). Friendly professional crew and comfortable boat and everything was provided. Some really big beautiful catches were brought in (just not by me lol). Bob knows all the good spots and was on the ball the whole time helping, chatting, teaching and making the day enjoyable for everyone onboard.
Awesome deckhand guy (I forget his name sorry) gutted and cleaned everyone's catches and was ready to help out with whatever we needed help with (me the baiting part).
Perfect trip for anyone, from kids right up to experienced fishermen.
I can recommend this as a day trip for everyone. AA+++

I am still 6 months behind on reviews from the Caribbean to Miami to Perth and the Margaret River and places in between - HOWEVER - a simple birthday gesture from one of my fishing mad sons has been one of the most pleasant family holiday experiences ever. It's a simple formula, it goes like this. 1 well maintained fishing boat. 1 highly experienced and knowledgeable Skipper (Bob) with fishing running through his veins without being a knob about it - patient and down to earth. 3 simple rules about safety/fishing protocols. A minimum of 4 well maintained rods / gear and a heap of bait. 6 hours to spare. We went to a range of spots that had been selected on the data Bob has collected over the years and caught a huge range of fish in terms of variety and size. It was relaxing whilst exhilarating and we only kept what we wanted. Absolutely worth the 4.15am wake up in order to get from Sydney to the "Gong". We'll be back for sure.

Really nice and helpful guys with a really good fishing boat. They took us to the best spots where there were lots of big fish. On the charter there wasn’t a 5 minute period where no one caught anything.

Fantastic day out. The guys are really helpful. This is not your dull & boring fishing charter. If there are no bites at one spot you will be taken to another and if needed another. The guys really work hard at finding fish for you & strive to make your day out not only successful but memorable.

My two adult sons and I had a family day out on Aquilla Fishing Charter and it was fantastic. It was a cold and early start, 6am at the wharf in Wollongong, to board the boat and then a 45 minute run out to the fishing ground while watching the sun rise.
The skipper, Bobby, took great care of us - setting up the fishing gear, showing how to bait hooks and helping us land the fish. He knows where to find the fish and within 5 minutes of dropping in the first line we started catching them. This continued for the next five hours, with Bobby moving the boat to reef and sandy bottom spots to allow us to catch different species. The best surprise of the trip was that Bobby then cleaned out catch for us!
I would heartily recommend Aquilla to anyone no matter what their skill at fishing, from brand newbie to old salt. This trip was great value (it paid for itself in the fish we caught) and great fun.

The day started early with a warm welcome from the crew, the weather wasn’t perfect but the crew on board the Aquilla made our time enjoyable. We caught a variety of fish species and the deck hands were quick to remove the fish from the hook and place in cold storage for us until we had completed our journey to take home. We had a BBQ mid morning which was also very tasty. I would highly recommend the Half-Day fishing trip with Aquilla.

Hi, I’d like my three sons to go out in a charter with you guys one day in the week of the 20th Jan. They Are 18/15/11yrs. Would I have to accompany them? They have been on charters before and fish regularly and they’re not dopes. Lol my contact is 0447679908 txt is fine.
