    A wonderful concert
I really enjoyed the music, Haronnia made that violin really talk and the pianist was great. Now for the Choir, MOST IMPRESED. My experience was spoilt by the lady in the seat next to me, the odor was disturbing. All in all well worth coming.

    Magical Wanderlust
Great to have local talent perform with internationally renowned artists in a musical tour of the world; quite an innovation. The explanations of the various items were so warmly presented and helped bring each item alive. Harmonnia was brilliant on the violin and so capably accompanied by Soowon. Simple staging in the intimate environment of the Flett Theatre. Top marks!!

    Ubelievably extravagant in Taree
Great place and great show at an affordable price.... not sure how it can be helped but it is a problem when seating behind a really tall person who is blocking the view! Otherwise the Revue Musical was an excellent show - fantastic dancers and extravagant costumes. I cant believe I am watching this quality show in Taree ;-)

    The Revue
Just saw the The Revue show at the Manning entertainment centre. It was amazing! I really enjoyed it! I really hope more dancing burlesque style shows like the The Revue will continue to present at the Manning entertainment. Also, I really hope there will be a development for burlesque style dance classes for adults for the public as there is a massive gap within the Taree NSW area, for adults who really want to learn burlesque dance.

    Fabulous show
Saw "Poems and Prayers and Promises" featuring Darryl oggin in a tribute to John Denver. A fabulous show, a truly professional performer, and in the Beryl Flett small, intimate theatre. Highly recommended

    Top class venue
Unimpeded view of the stage allowing all to see and even get up and dance. Good sound and visual. Quick to get audience in and out and started on time. Audience very friendly and response to show very positive. Highly recommend venue and the Queen Forever show

    Fabulous tribute to Led Zeppelin
Zeppelin Unledded were amazing last night. Fantastic sound and lights. The lead singer reached those high notes sounding very like Robert Plant, and lead guitarist and bass were sensational, every riff a perfect reproduction of Jimmy Page. Drummer was also amazing, as were all accompanying - three on mid eastern percussion instruments, acoustic guitar, violin and cello. All wow! A fabulous concert, thoroughly recommend seeing. Band from Melbourne, look ‘em up!

This show was hard to endure, we almost left at intermission, but hoped it would improve. The sound was dreadful and I spent most of the show with my ears blocked! The drummer was so loud you could hear nothing else, and the female singers were ear piercing. There was not even a lot of Motown that we could recognise. Not the first time the sound has been poor at the MEC, they need to improve on this before I will return.

Thank you for your feedback on this event and we apologies that the experience was not pleasant for you and your guests. We did have a number of issues with the audio during the presentation particularly the volume levels of the band and that of the sound delivered to the audience. We will be conducting a full review of our procedures in relation to this matter so that our patrons will have an outstanding experience when they visit Manning Entertainment Centre in future.

I paid a visit to the Beryl Jane Flett Studio at the MEC last week and had a mind blowing evening. The staff and volunteers are so welcoming and cannot be more attentive to a patrons needs.
The Wet presented by Circa Cairns was incredible. The cast of 5 indigenous, seemingly ordinary men and women from the far north, brought with them, a full -on season of everything that only that part of the tropical far north can deliver. The Wet, aptly named transported the audience through all the raw aspects of the life, living and loving in such a dramatic location. Alsolutely mesmerising from start to finish. The performance of one hour and ten, made time stand still as we watched and felt the season envelop us. Accomplished acrobatics and dance had the audience applauding and cheering the cast on.
The staging, simplistic yet stylistic and symbolistic... no wonder it took ages to bump in. The lighting was moody and just right and the soundtrack... Wow! Immersive. Full credit to the Director, Choreographer and accompaning crew . Overall I found it an exhillerating experience did not want it to end. Standing ovation well deserved.

Just have to recommend the series of screenings of National Theatre Live performances I have attended over the last couple of years at MEC in Taree. For those who can't get to London's West End theatres very often, they are the next best thing. Excellent performances by leading directors and stagers and well worth the tiny ticket price! Last night's play was outstanding!

What happened to the Sound MEC? The sound quality was appalling. We felt so sorry for the performers, it was embarrassing. We noticed some people walked out it was so bad. We were so looking forward to this event and left very disappointed. Hopefully something will change here with regard to better sound quality.

Thank you for your feedback on the event. We acknowledge that there were issues with the audio quality on the night and will be working with our staff and musicians to ensure this doesn't happen again. We hope to see you at the MEC again in future.

What an absolute pleasure it was to see Kate Miller-Heidke at this wonderfully intimate venue. Direct line of vision and flawless sound made the way for her very very talented and pitch perfect voice. Not to mention the best guitarist I’ve seen in years in Keir Nuttall.
Must make a special mention of Georgia Mooney who was the icing on the cake for this very entertaining show.
If I could I’d see it again and again!
Congratulations to all involved

Unfortunately The Revue was probably one of the most boring shows I've seen at the MEC. I'm sure they really tried, but I think they needed more experienced people to put it together. Choreography was all the same, singing and dancing left a lot to be desired.

We went to see the Kings of Country Rock - Eagles and Credence Clearwater Revival tributes. This is the second time we watched this group (at the MEC both times.) They didn't disappoint and were even better than the first time. A range of talent amongst the 6 group members and especially good vocals from the guitarist who was the main singer in the Eagles part and the lead guitarist who was the main singer in the CCR part. The lead guitarist was also AB FAB with his guitar work. All the group members put on a great performance and seemed to be really enjoying themselves in the process. Good crowd in a perfectly-sized venue for good interaction with the group. The MEC is going from strength to strength and I am so glad that it (and all other entertainment venues that managed it) survived the lockdowns caused by the virus for a couple of years. Hope the locals continue to support the MEC and its events in big numbers.
