Family visiting from Sydney really enjoyed their first experience meeting all the little animals in the petting pen before their adventure riding "Noah" lead by owner Christine. Jason, Christine and Pipper were all so accommodating to our visit and ensured that we all enjoyed ourselves. The new BBQ area is a great spot for those who wish to have a little time under the trees and taken in the beautiful scenery

Initially this was going to be a short stop over for the kids to help break up a long trip as we were staying overnight nearby. After enjoying the petting pen and chatting to Jason and Christine we decided to get on the buggy and do the Swamp Oak Station Tour. Both the kids loved it and Jason and Christine were so patient with all the questions a 6 and 4 year old had! We enjoyed it so much we decided to come back the next morning for the kids to do pony rides and hubby and I to do the 2 hour trial ride. The trial ride was great - especially with all of Jason’s stories about the history of the place along the way - and his jokes! The horses have such beautiful temperaments and were easy to ride. And whilst we were out enjoying the beautiful scenery Christine and her lovely daughter Piper took the kids on a pony ride and then back to the petting pen. We all enjoyed our visit and can’t wait to come back (hopefully overnight stays are possible very soon)

Fantastic experience this morning as beginner riders. It was the best way to see the amazing countryside. Jason and his girls were very knowledgeable and friendly and the horses were gorgeous. We had a great time and would recommend to anyone.

Really lovely time. Booked in for a two hour ride, but with signing in and saying good-bye, probably took about 2.5 hours. A bit out-of-the way from Tamworth, but Jason gave us really good directions to call when we got to a bowling club in town, and from there told us about a handful of turns to get to the property gate - we made it easily but were a bit worried about phone reception! (didn't end up being an issue) When we pulled up to the gate we called again, and Jason recommended that we park our little yaris there (as it had been raining), and asked someone else to come and pick us up. We then met Jason and his wife, and got set-up and ready to go. Had a really lovely time riding through the property. Was a bit nervous but they gave very good instructions and were with us to provide any assistance if required. They were lovely to chat to, and kindly took some beautiful photos (with a waterproof camera!) so that we didn't have to worry about multi-tasking. Was really great. I think Jason advised us that long pants and enclosed shoes are required (I wore leggings and runners). I would also recommend that you sun-screen up ahead of time (as logically you can't wear a sun hat with a helmet). We had a bit of rain so I was a bit envious of some other customers who had thought to bring a fold-up water-proof jacket, but I expect this is very dependent on the time of year, and we had a lovely time regardless - felt like we were really connecting with the elements! Only recommendation would be that they should pop some flyers in the visitor information centre - this was the first place we looked for horse-riding info and, seeing no flyers there, we went to google.

My partner Matthew brought me here before we got engaged later that evening. The trail ride was beautiful, and you guys were so knowledgeable about the area. We would both absolutely love to come back again!!
