Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

An enjoyable and fun experience.
The operators are very friendly, welcoming and accommodating. So are the camels!
Just a suggestion - a cabana to shade waiting riders would be helpful as it can be very hot standing in the sun on the sand.

I was very excited to find this camel beach ride opportunity. It lived up to my expectations. The location was easy to find with GPS- and this from someone definitely from out of town- out of country. Per their website it is walk up basis , cash only basis. I arrived just before noon and a family of four had arrived just before me which worked out well since I couldn't convince my husband to go! Twenty minutes on the beach was plenty of time. I thought the price of A$ 40 was very reasonable. Mounting the saddle was easy with a step stool. It is definitely a lurching , jolting sensation as the camel rises at the beginning and sits back down at the end otherwise the ride is very smooth. The two guys in charge were very personable and happy to take lots of photos. Absolutely something out of the ordinary and fun.

We parked in the wrong section and had to walk 10-15mins down to the south end of the lighthouse beach past the unleashed dogs area. Camel ride was awesome, little one was a bit scared especially when camel was changing positions. Just hold tight and lean back. Enjoyed the ride along the beach as it was a once and lifetime experience especially during Covid times and won’t be going to Egypt soon. Animals seem happy and well.

You won’t be disappointed with this camel ride . Beautiful scenic relaxing ride along the beach . The camels are so chilled and well looked after. The guys running the ride and looking after the camels were awesome ! Friendly , funny and professional . They obviously have a love and respect for their animals and love a chat . Great to see !
