Inspiring & Charming !

Don't imagine its possible not to be humbled by the work, care & dedication of this exclusive KOALA-only wildlife hospital ...its easily appreciated & impossible not to be delighted being so close to the stunningly unusual creatures being cared for ... you must have booked online because you may only join a group led by one of the carers..there is no charge but you must register coming here because only a certain number can be managed at any given time..Highly recommended! & worth giving a hefty donation!
We in fact were so impressed we will adopt a Koala as an on-going support of this work!

Do Go!

A must do
Nov. 2021 • Couples
Well worth a visit. Free entry but donations are encouraged. All visitors must currently book in for a 45 minute session.
Our volunteer/ guide was very informative and it was good to see the koalas quite close. Hospital is being rebuilt shortly and a breeding program is in the works.

Would go again in a heartbeat

Brilliant. We need this place and these people. Our Koalas are becoming extinct. By 2050 there will likely be no Koalas in the wild. These amazing people are trying to stop that happening. Donations are accepted and you can buy small Koala trees to plant out!. Gift shop is amazing and plenty of things for kids to look at. Then there are the Koalas. Sweet and sleepy and quite close enough to take pictures. Education is the key to helping this species stay living. We need to stop urban development in their habitat, keep a watch on our dogs and stop Forestry Corp from cutting down the forests where they live.

Amazing !!!

This is a must do, we were so glad to hear about this place from some locals and had a top day. We had a guided tour of 45 minutes by one of the staff who was passionate and very knowledgeable and she really educated and entertained us thoroughly. The tour is free and we liked the place so much we ended up donating, you can also adopt a koala. The Hospital does a top job of rescuing koalas from floods and bushfires and if they can they rehab and return if not they keep the koalas for life and the ones we saw were all so cute and looked like they were very happy !!!
