We just loved the coastline of Port Macquarie and enjoyed our walks whilst visiting the area. Climbing the various lookouts the views are simply magnificent. Enjoy if you visit, it’s a must.

If you don't have time to do the whole coastal walk, or you have small children with you, at least do stage 1 of the walk, which is along the breakwall. It is a flat paved walk which will take 15-20 minutes one way. You...More

Started at Town beach car park. Continue through bushland and other coastal beaches including Oxley and Flynns beach. The walk goes all the way to lighthouse beach and is about 6.5 km - 8km one way. Some beaches are leash free, signage will let you...More

This is a wonderful view. Then go down to Shelly beach to find out all about Harry Thompson. Take a walk along the sand at low tide.

We walked from Port Macquarie to the Lighthouse and discovered lots of beautiful coves along the way... a very long walk (nearly 10 miles) but worth it for the stunning photographs and experience
