Our group of five did the afternoon tea cruise. First up no chairs available, they had to get seats from the wharf before we left, our seats were put outside the doors in the way of through traffic. The afternoon tea consisted of make your own tea/coffee and packets of biscuits,we were expecting scones with jam and cream! Also, the boom net was... More

One of the cheapest options for some time on the water at Port Macquarie is the kayak hire at Cruise Terminal office on river bank. For $25 an hour we hired a double kayak from very helpful Beverly and paddled across river at high tide to swim in beautiful clear water. It was excellent value and a nice break from... More

The first thing I have to say is that for the first time in 6 days at Port Macquarie, we were greeted as " folks" rather than "guys". At last, some professionalism in North Coast tourism! Now, the trip was most enjoyable. The boat was comfortable and we had plenty of choices of seats. Had a long and pleasant encounter... More

This was a great cruise and staff very friendly. We sat downstairs and were told that there was going to be a band playing but if there was upstairs we could not hear it. Also advised there would be commentary but again if there was we could not hear it. But overall we had a very pleasant cruise, joined another... More

We did the Friday champagne breakfast/Cassegrain Winery tour. Best value. Just fantastic. Champagne breakfast with freshest finger sandwiches, ham and cheese croissant, profiterole, Lamington and if you're feeling healthy muesli crunch with berry yoghourt topped of with champagne and tea/coffee. Having driven down for the cruise from Arakoon I was hungry ... I ate the lot so gorgeous. The 2... More

We did the 2 hour Cruise with Devonshire Tea. The scones were probably the best scones I have ever eaten. We were very lucky as we saw dolphins and they played an swam right up to the boat. The river is beautiful and clean. The Cruise was very informative. There was a boom net but it wasn't put down on... More

We went wahle watching and not only was the staff excellent expecially the tour guy Sean the whole experience was the best one I have ever had! We were "mugged" by a mother and her calf. Couldn't have asked for a better experience!
