Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

As you’d expect from its name, Little Bay is a small, rocky cove with a beach the size of a pocket-handkerchief.
To get there, you have to take the wooden stairs down from the Tacking Point lighthouse.
This makes it a secluded spot and if you make the steep descent, you have a good chance of having it all to yourself.
It’s not really suitable for swimming but it’s a pretty spot, in a rugged sort of way.
There are a couple of seats beside the lighthouse which look directly down over the bay. Rather than walking down to the bay, we sat here instead and watched the waves roll in and crash upon the rocks.
Best of all we saw a pod of at least air least a dozen dolphins surfing the waves. We watched them for 20 minutes or so and they were still there when we left.
If like us, you're doing the Coastal Walking Trail, this is beach # 8.

This is a cosy place just to relax and unwind be it just a evening stroll or a weekend get away. It is not as crowded as some beach bays and offers a enchanting, unblocked view of the ocean along a stretch of long coastal line.

Little Bay was a rocky small inlet and bay just to the north of Tacking Point Lighthouse and there is a walkway down to a fairly rocky and rugged (but sandy) area of the coast. Very pretty and worth a visit if at Tacking Point..

This small rocky beach is between the Lighthouse and Miners Beach at Tacking Point. It's not really a place to swim (although you could have a dip) but it's very picturesque.
To access Little Bay you descend the wooden stairs on the north east side of the lighthouse. It's worth it!

Tucked away in Little Bay, Sydney (not Port Macquarie), is this hidden gem. Not too many people and quiet. The whole area is rather nice and deserves a look!

When I started to go down the wooden stairs, I could see how beautiful this place was. Once down, I was standing still. It was so beautiful!
There were many rocks, boulders and massive boulders.
The ocean hit its waves on the rocks. Sometimes the waves went way up in the sky.
The color of the ocean was light blue.
There was a lake thanks to the ocean and this is where it is the most attractive place on that beach.
There was a beach for at least 100 people.
Wow! This is truly gorgeous!
This is a must see!
