HUMPBACK WHALES MIGRATE ALONG THE EAST COAST FROM MAY TO NOVEMBER.

Port Macquarie Cruise Adventures operates 3 different styles of cruise boats and is the longest established privately owned cruise business in the Port Macquarie area.

Our largest boat, Discovery 2 (54 pax) was built for the Murray River. The shallow draft allows us to navigate to impossible places thru 2 national parks. See wetlands, endangered species of birds and dolphins on most trips.

We care for the environment and are actively involved with marine mammal rescue and research.

We took a relaxing sunset cruise around the waterways of Port Macquarie. At $10 per person It was very good value and a great way to see some of the local sights. The boat was full but the hosts had assigned areas for larger groups to ensure we weren't fighting to try to get seats together - a nice touch.... More

This is a great way to see Port Macquarie and the surrounding areas. The captain shares some really interesting history. The cruise is inexpensive and great value. They run regularly and are worth it.

This was the second time we've been on the water with Cruise Adventures. The first was whale watching a little while ago which was excellent. My wife was a bit concerned at first but became so excited when she saw the whales so close any trepidation dissapeared. Just the trip out is fun. It is an amazing experience. Today a... More

What can I say here?? We enquired about a sunset cruise and ended up also going on the daytime cruise. We paid $10 each per trip and were on the boat for 1-2 hours. We saw Dolphins each time and beautiful wildlife. We were allowed drinks and food on the boat!! Highly recommended for families, couples and single. Service was... More

John went out of his way to make sure Kez and I got to head out on the water on a last minute trip to the coast. We had an amazing time on the Fast Red boat watching dolphins surf and play and watching a huge sea turtle breach for air. Even better was riding the waves at speed and... More

They offer many types of cruises and a large schedule and they'll work to accommodate you. Then, on the cruise the friendly crew will focus 100% on getting the experience you payed for. In our case that meant alternately scanning for dolphins and visiting yet another pod! They added great commentary and explanation of the grand scenery between pods.

We booked an afternoon cruise at $10 per person for 1.5 hour cruise down the Hasting River and into the canals. John was the captain and answered all of our questions. Most impressive was that we were able to take our own nibblies and drinks. So relaxing.

All our advertising stipulates that our cruises go subject to minimum numbers and weather. You were given the option to pay the minimum fee of $130 for a 1 hour fast boat ride. This hardly covers the cost of petrol. The alternative was to wait for 2 more walk-up passengers to make up the minimum number of 4 people. You... More

had the pleasure to book a sunset cruise for $10 per head. what a bargain - a good 2 hour cruise up the hastings, saw the man made structures but importantly saw a sea eagle and dolphins who followed the boat, diving and going under the bow - magic!
