Even though Billabong is a small rural zoo we enjoyed our short stay. Every 30 minutes staff give a talks with different animals from Koalas to lions. It is a well thought out schedule and makes your visit enjoyable. There are plenty of Wallabies and Kangaroos for the kids as well.

They have many animals you wouldn't think you would find in a small zoo. Big old crocodil, penguins, lions,Koalas, meerkats, snow leopards cheetahs.we also fed very tame kangaroos and Wallabies and koalas. It was a great day nice park! Good value!

Four adults visited on a hot day without high expectations. However were very pleasantly surprised to find a well laid-out and well presented zoo with some interesting residents including snow leopards and red pandas. Our UK friends loved being able to feed the roos, pat a dingo and see the koalas close up. A really good visit

Billabong is a fairly small wildlife park but the keepers are very friendly and answer your questions. You can meet the wallabies and feed them. It really is a very nice place. Plenty of Australia animals to see. I enjoyed the one to one koala visit. It made my holiday. You can't pick the koalas up but you can touch... More

Great little zoo. Get in early if you want lunch as most services for food close about 230pm. Love the snow leopards and the gigantic croc. Wasn't crowded and staff were really nice!

Good place to see koalas up close. Entry price is high, though. Can also feed the room in the paddock. Mostly koalas but other animals too.

Visit the zoo every time we visit port Macquarie. It's great to see the new developments and new animals. Many daily talks, lots of animals to see and don't forget to feed the kangaroos! Great staff and beautiful grounds. Great day out for all! Can't wait to visit again! Spent 3/4 of the day there.

We were so surprised by this gem! This small zoo was so much better than we ever expected. Its a beautiful, well kept zoo with very informative and caring staff. The grounds were easy to get around and there were a lot of included hands on experiences. Would definitely recommend for families!
