Description:

At Tulloch you don’t just do a wine tasting, you have a wine experience....

At Tulloch you don’t just do a wine tasting, you have a wine experience. Our fun and friendly team make sure that all of our guests have a great experience, every time. That’s why we are the only Cellar Door to have won the Cellar Door of the Year Award twice.

We provide a bespoke tasting experience tailored to every individual, so if you want to learn, laugh or languish, we’ll look after you in one of our unique tasting spaces and help you get the most out of your visit.

Our stunning Cellar Door has a diverse range of tasting spaces and experiences to cater for all occasions. You can stand at the bar for a quick peruse through our extensive range of wines or relax and enjoy yourselves in one of our beautifully appointed tasting spaces. Fireside in winter, on the balcony in summer, down stairs getting serious at our Tasting Lab with a group, or enjoying the luxurious private surrounds of our 1895 Members Lounge.

We call it edutainment; a unique hybrid of education and entertainment which we pioneered here at Tulloch by listening and learning from our guests and understanding that no two are the same.

At Tulloch our motto is drink better and to us that means much more than just great wine, it’s about creating better experiences created with you in mind.

This winery was friendly and relaxed. The venue was beautiful and had a nice outlook. I really enjoyed some of the wines here too.

We were hosted by Matt who was very knowledgeable about not only wine from his vineyard but others from across Australia. His tasting education and timing whilst sat a lovely old wooden table was perfect. The wines are exquisite and very good value.

Lovely experience in the Hunter Vally. We were a group of 8 and we were made to feel welcome and they accommodated our tastings to suit everyone at the table. We had Stuart who was a great laugh, knowledgeable and encouraging in getting out group to try a few wines we probably wouldn't have. Would highly recommend, the wines are... More

Did a private members tasting and thoroughly enjoyed it. I recommend becoming a member as the wines are good quality and starting to be sold wholesale (more people are going to want them). We were well looked after with stories about the winery, good funny conversation with Stewie and a nice little cheese platter. Good wines, beautiful setting and good... More

One of the best winery in the Hunter I have been a member for a long time, so I try to go there twice a year if I can. I have introduced lots of my friends to Tulloch wines. The people are so nice & the wine is a treat. Keep it up...

Friendly staff, too. The only downside is that there's not a lot of room at the bar, so things can get crowded quickly. And it might be an odd observation, but the otherwise lovely presentation bags they give you your wine in are rather uncomfortable to hold. But the wines themselves are fantastic! Love the verdelho, one of the true... More

After reading great reviews of this place I was thoroughly excited to try this winery with my friends. Upon arrival instead of a warm greeting, we were greeted with "IDs will be checked, over there please". Yes we look young but we are full time workers and 24 with a keen excitement to try wine and buy for family and... More

Treated like absolute vip's if you are a member of the wine club. We know all the wines but come back every time when in the Hunter. Exceptional service every time and the treatment of their members is what makes me bring every friend and family member. Beautiful setting and staff are phenomenal and a million times friendlier than other... More

Tulloch used to be a sensational top end winery, producing in particular amazing chardonnay. We just got back from a weekend in the Hunter and went to visit for a tasting and to pick up a few bottles. Wow, times have changed. The wines lack finish, body, and seem to have a consistent acidity and lack of depth across the... More

Thank you Jake M for your feedback. As a long standing producer in the Hunter Valley we value all feedback both positive and negative however I am a little confused with a few of your comments. I have spoken with our Cellar Door Manager Andrew who remembers you clearly as he spent some time with you at the end of... More
