During our wine trip to Hunter's valley we decided to visit the ironbark brewery.

We ordered two tasting flights which are $20 each which is affordable for 4 tasting beers. No guides tasting however the beers were definitely tasty and different in tastes from summer ale, pale ale, IPA, pilsner and stout. Fresh and lots of flavor.

The food was yummy especially pizza and chicken wings which were not too expensive.

I'm a beer lover and particular with my flavor of beers and black forest stout was stand out.

We spent a lovely hour or so sampling beers and enjoying the valley views, soaking up sunshine and just chilling. It wasn't too busy but it was late afternoon, midweek

On visiting this dog friendly vineyard, we were rudely verbally abused by a older man and his wife as we had a dog. One wonders why they chose to visit a vineyard/ brewery that advertises they welcome fluffy friends. However, we moved to another spot and were very appreciative of the support of all the lovely, friendly staff who were very happy to see our lovely and well behaved dog.
Nasty incident aside, we had a lovely tasting platter and sampled some good beers and sparkling wine. Recommend this place.

Relaxed Atmosphere, in a lovely location in the heart of Pokolbin. The woodfire pizza is always on point and offer a good-sized serving. I often recommend this venue as a change of pace from some of the other more formal venues in the locale. The alfresco area has you situated right within the vineyards, making for a pleasant afternoon and a drink or two. Have been on a number of occasions and service, and food has always been consistently good.

We went for lunch and were disappointed by the poor menu. One employee was trying to handle all aspects - order desk, waitress, food deliverer for the lunch section and other duties. We will not be going back

I called in after a wine tasting at nearby Pigs Peake.

Good selection of craft beers to choose from. I chose the pale ale.

They had a rather unique gas pizza oven which rotates. I did not have a pizza but the ones I saw on tables looked great.,

Nice outdoor seating area with views.

The sign said fully booked no walkins. We saw some people leaving so thought we’d try anyway and the friendly (and patient) staff found us a picnic table on the grass in the sun. They suggested pizzas because the kitchen was swamped. All the beers were good ( but special thumbs up to the renegade) and my wife thought the sparkling sem chard was delicious. The pizza came out very quickly. It was light, fresh and lovely. The solo musician was fantastic and got the crowd going. Very dog and kid friendly. What a great way to spend a Sunday afternoon

Quick weekend away and our first stop to eat! Beautiful vineyard country setting, relaxed atmosphere and great pizzas!!! Of course the visit wasn’t complete without company trying a beer or two and a glass of red or two. I think I’m obsessed with barrels lol! Busy spot, make a booking so you don’t miss out on a great experience!

BEER - 10/10
We visited this brewery after my husband tried one of the beers at a restaurant the night before. Absolutely amazing!! We ended up purchasing 3 cartons of select boutique beer and were pleasantly surprised at all the flavours and how easy drinking they were. I'm not a beer drinker and found myself loving these.
Definitely worth the visit.

FOOD - 8/10
As we were there around lunch, we decided to grab a pizza and a paddle of 3 beers and 1 cider. Our pizza of choice was the Thai satay chicken, which was delicious. BUT the flies carried us away.

Outdoor Dining area 0/10
We couldn't eat properly as we were continually swishing away flies. Gross!!!. The outdoor seating area is undercover but not enclosed. We hurriedly ate our pizza, so the flies would leave us alone. Such a disappointment as this place could be amazing with the beautiful outlook over the vineyards. We also found the area had not been cleaned from the previous customers. Crumbs of previous meals on the tables and chairs.
Pizza & Beer is a match made in heaven. They just need to enclose the space, so customers can eat in peace.
The staff also need a little more training as they kept swapping jobs and all we heard was the wait staff continually asking someone to watch the front of house. Obviously nobody wanted the job.
When we were tasting the beers we also had a change in staff members, like something more important came up.
A beautiful winery/brewery which could be amazing with some small changes.

We will be back for the beer, but would not dine here again until the area is enclosed, and the staff up their game. Sorry guys but the restaurant lets this place down.
