Australia's Largest Organic Wine Producer

With a five red-star rating in James Halliday's 'Wine Companion', as well as local, national and international wine show recognition, we continue to challenge industry conventions and lead others down a path less travelled in pursuit of wine excellence. Our approach, we term 'contemporary organics', is a result of our enthusiasm to re-think winemaking and experiment with modern best practice in vineyard management, incorporated with practical and sustainable strategies that continue to produce brilliant wine - with body and soul.

Went on a wine tour and one of the stop was the Tamburlaine. I have really no idea about organic wines and what's the difference about it with the other wines. Not much of an explanation was given during the wine tasting. However, for what does the wine well accompanied with was being explained. As well as the difference between... More

Staff were really friendly. Shopped up a storm with like minded friends who understood that good drinking is not about binge drinking. There is great value in the 12 (case) purchase and we got a Christmas bonus to boot. All very positive things to say of this no-fuss kind of cellar door with good old fashion service and quality. Many... More

After our children surprised us with a Hot Air Balloon ride for our combined birthdays, we decided to stay longer in the Pokolbin area, we visited many wineries, but by far the best was the Tamburlaine Organic Winery, health is very important to us as a whole, so not only could we taste the difference, but we felt the difference,... I visited with a group and had a group tour and wine tasting. Although I am not a wine drinker the tour guide (Bridie) knew her stuff and we were all very impressed with her knowledge and friendliness to our group. A vineyard with visiting.

This winery is a must as it represents the new wave of wineries moving toward the organic style without losing the integrity of beautiful wines.

My 'always go to' organic winery just got even better thanks to the upgrade of the private tasting room & front entrance. Thanks a million to Rob for walking us through some familiar and new wines. Double thumbs up for the Premium Syrah! As always...purchased more than intended and looking forward to sharing with family and friends over the silly... More

Personally I seek out organic wines anyway, but after living in the Hunter Valley this vineyard became my favourite because BOTH the people and the wines are lovely and care for you and your health :)

Great winery all the wines are organic and taste amazing the young man who was helping us taste the wines and giving us all the details of all the wines was great a very helpful young man called Mitchell Unger . The wines are reasonably priced out of all the wineries plus the service and all the information first class.

There are a lot of wineries to choose from in the Hunter Valley but Tamburlaine is a must. Firstly our sommelier Mitch made our experience highly entertaining and informative, so I would highly recommend looking out for him when visiting for a tasting. Not only did we get a highly entertaining experience the organic wines were really special. Most wineries... More

We were looking for organic wines. The wines are quite good & cover a good selection of grape varieties sourced from their organic vineyards in Orange & the Hunter.
