Hope Estate draws a bigger crowd than any other destination in the Hunter....

Hope Estate draws a bigger crowd than any other destination in the Hunter.

Our concerts draw some of the biggest names in the world. Elton John, Fleetwood Mac and Bruce Springsteen play here.

This place has been a 'must visit' for Hunter trips since Len Evans built it in the late 60's. Owner Michael Hope took it to the next level, building an amphitheatre that holds 20,000 guests and expanding our hospitality services.

We offer an exciting range of estate grown Hunter wines from our vineyards at Pokolbin and Broke. There are also intriguing wines from our vineyards in Donnybrook, Western Australia, and Kyneton, Victoria.

Our Harvest Restaurant is one of the most delightful places to spend an afternoon, looking out across the valley and enjoying the innovative cuisine of Executive Chef Mert Tansu.

There's a lot more happening at Hope Estate right now. Our new Brewhouse is now ready for you to enjoy a wide range of fresh-brewed craft beers on tap.

We're right at the gateway to Pokolbin, a great place to meet up with your friends at the start or the end of your day in the Hunter.

After trying their restaurant at Nelson Bay we had to drop in in the hope of a nice lunch and a sample of the wine. They have certainly done nothing to create any type of atmosphere to the extent we pretty much walked in looked at the menu and walked out without so much as a taste of what they... More

It was our second visit. I liked the unique display of large wine barrels. Enjoyed pizza more than wine. You can also taste beer which was a new experience. Good view and a great place for a lunch.

Went there on a Sunday afternoon after a long drive and was immediately given a beer which was fantastic! The two guys working there were so awesome - very attentive and passionate about what they do. Wine tasting was fun, but selection of beers is also very good.

Went to the John Farnham concert and support acts over the weekend at Hope Estate at Pkolbin. It was made clear from the outset on their ticketing and website that no food or drink was allowed to be brought on site, including water. Being a winery, no alcohol either. Fair enough. However when they charged $35 for a very ordinary... More

We went to the John Farnham concert at this winery and we will never ever go back there again. We were looking forward to spending some time with our friends and having a great afternoon. The concert was amazing and we all enjoyed it, but however Hope Estate is a terrible place to see a concert. We received an email... More

John Farnham was great .Everything else about Hope Estate is about extracting as much money out of you as possible. Security took away our seats because they were to big- we used them at every other concert weve been to with no problem ! to top it off we saw people sitting in exactly the same seats ! When we... My husband and I attended the John Farnham concert on the 8th April. The concert was amazing and we both enjoyed very much, however Hope Estate was a real let down as we had been to others and totally enjoyed.. On arrival to the estate at the time of parking at 1pm were shown where to park. We made our... More

We had said we would never go back to Hope Estate for another concert but when Bruce Springsteen was announced we relented and got tickets for 6 of us. I am not sure where to start. This place was so overcrowded it was not funny. Lack of toilets - queues at some times for almost an hour. $40 for a... More
